Tonight Colgate plays their first game that counts towards their record and it comes against a team they need a bit of revenge against. This game is dramatic, Mitch Benson and Mike Robinson match zeros in the first period so we skate to a scoreless, first intermission tie. With 12:11 left in the second period Jackson Pierson scored on the power play to make it 1-0 UNH heading to the third period. With 17:24 left in the third period Tyler Penner scored to tie the game 1-1. With 9:14 left in the third period Jared Cockrell scored to make it 2-1 Colgate! Benson and Robinson match zeros for the rest of the game and Colgate hangs on and wins 2-1! The Raiders move to 1-0-0 on the young season looking for the weekend sweep tomorrow!
