After a disappointing road trip, the Colgate Raiders return to Class of 1965 Arena for weekend games against ECAC Hockey opponents Brown and Yale. The start of the road to Lake Placid begins with the first game of conference action. Nieto and Benson matched zeros in the first period so we skate to a scoreless tie heading to the second period. With 14:39 left in the second period Bobby McMann scored to make it 1-0 Raiders. With 6:30 left in the second period Tristan Crozier scored to tie the game 1-1. With 5 seconds left in the second period Justin Jalen scored to make it 2-1 Bears heading to the third period. With 17:03 left in the third period Bobby McMann scored his second goal of the game to tie the game 2-2 heading to overtime. Nieto and Benson matched zeros in overtime so we have our first tie of the season 2-2. Colgate goes to 2-3-1 on the season and 0-0-1 in ECAC hockey play.
