After a unpredictable weekend last weekend, the Colgate Raiders return to the Class Of 1965 Arena one final time this season to play the capital district Union and RPI. With 5:18 left in the first period Paul McAvoy scored to make it 1-0 Colgate. Darion Hanson, Andrew Farrier and Mitch Benson match zeros for the remainder of the first period so 1-0 Colgate heading to the second period. With 18:58 left in the second period Griffin Lunn scored to make it 2-0 Raiders. With 2:45 left in the second period Josh McKechney scored to make it 3-0 Raiders. Union coach Rick Bennett pulls Darion Hanson and Jake Kupsky and Mitch Benson match zeros for the remaining 2:45 so the Raiders lead 3-0 heading to the third period. With 19:03 left in the third period Adam Dauda scored to make it 4-0 Colgate. With 12:28 left in the third period Jack Adams scored to make it 4-1 Raiders. With 4:36 left in the third period Hunter Racine scored to make it 5-1 Colgate! Mitch Benson finishes the Dutchmen off and Colgate wins 5-1! Colgate improves to 9-19-3 on the season and 6-10-3 in ECAC hockey play heading to tomorrow's senior night at Class Of 1965 Arena!
