After a very successful weekend last week, Colgate makes the trip to the capital region to play ECAC foes Rensselaer and Union. With 14:58 left in the first period Trevor Cosgrove scored on the power play to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 12:13 left in the first period Nick Bowman scored to tie the game 1-1. With 3:58 left in the first period Kyle Hallbauer scored on the power play to make it 2-1 Engineers. Benson and Savory match zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-1 RPI heading to the second period. With Bobby McMann out of the game Colgate fails to score in the second period so we head to the third period with the Raiders down 2-1. With 9:28 left in the third period Chase Zieky scored on the power play to make it 3-1 Engineers. Savory and Benson match zeros for the remainder of the period RPI escapes with a 3-1 win. Colgate drops to 7-16-2 on the season and 4-7-2 in ECAC hockey play.
