After a heartbreaking loss last Saturday, the Raiders finish their six game home stand against Princeton and Quinnipiac. Mitch Benson and Ryan Ferland match zeros in the first period so we skate to a scoreless, first intermission tie. More of the same out of Benson and Ferland so we remain scoreless heading to the third period. With 18:46 left in the third period Matt Kellenburger scored to make it 1-0 Princeton. With 16:27 left in the third period Trevor Cosgrove scored to tie the game 1-1. With 6:23 left in the third period Ken Citron scored to make it 2-1 Colgate! Mitch Benson keeps it 2-1 Colgate for the remainder of the game and so Colgate wins 2-1! The Raiders improve to 3-6-1 on the season and 1-1-1 in ECAC hockey play welcoming in Quinnipiac tomorrow!
