Colgate put out a combined 35 players (21 from men's ice hockey)(14 from women's ice hockey) to the ECAC hockey all-academic team last Wednesday. The Raiders includes Nick Austin,Mitch Benson, Willie Brooks, Ken Citron, Trevor Cosgrove,Ross Craig,Adam Dauda,Andrew Farrier,Will Friend,Griffin Lunn,Henry Marshall, Paul McAvoy,Rory McGuire, Bobby McMann, Paul Meyer, Jacob Panetta, Tyler Penner, Nick Quillan, Ben Sharf, John Snodgrass and Evan Tschumi. Nineteen of these twenty-two players are still on the team for next season. This team needs Mitch Benson to be helped out by his skating teammates if Colgate wants a chance to compete for the Whitelaw Cup next season.
A/N: sorry I didn't update this sooner I didn't know if I should put in the book for this upcoming season or for this past season but I just punched it into here. The season is 79 days away folks this is crazy we are coming down to it. I am excited to see what Mitch Benson has turned into this summer as this Colgate team finds it's reputation for this upcoming season.
