After a perseverant win last night, the Colgate Raiders return to the ice for a game with the Clarkson University Golden Knights. With 5:44 left in the first period Haradls Egle scored to make it 1-0 Clarkson. Jake Kielly and Mitch Benson match zeros for the remainder of the first period so 1-0 Clarkson heading to the second period. With 1:42 left in the second period Haradls Egle scored his second goal of the game to make it 2-0 Clarkson. Benson and Kielly match zeros for the second period and so Clarkson leads 2-0 heading to the third period. With 5:31 left in the third period Ben Sharf scored to make it 2-1 Clarkson. Mitch Benson and Jake Kielly match zeros for the remainder of the period and Clarkson skates off with a 2-1 win. Colgate falls to 8-18-2 on the season and 5-9-2 in ECAC Hockey play heading to Rhode Island and Connecticut next weekend.
