- Lafayette -

Apparently I'm not the only one King has kidnapped and trapped here.

King left earlier, telling me that he'd be gone until tomorrow night, but he had a security system set up so that it would be impossible for me to leave. But I figured it's a good thing he's gone, since now I could wander the house a bit more and make a plan to escape. Plus, I could finally raid his giant fridge and get something to eat.

I had been walking around the rest of the second floor, looking in rooms and stuff like that. I went to the end of the hallway to the very last room to see what was in there, and was met face to face with a boy around my age, though much shorter.

"Oh my God, I'm not the only one here?" We both said at the same time. The boy said his name was Samuel Seabury, and that he's been here with King for around four months.

"I'm Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Rich Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette. But please, call me Laf. All of that is too much of a mouthful." I told him. He looked a bit confused, like people always do when I tell them my full name.

"Uhh, ok. Well Laf, do you wanna go downstairs and steal some food?" Seabury asked.

"I had the same idea in mind." I laughed.

Five minutes later, the two of us were sitting downstairs at the table, surrounded by tons of food. We were both shoveling it into our mouths like ravenous wolves, both of us starving after over a week of not eating.

"How did he manage to keep us from seeing each other for almost two weeks?" I wondered aloud. Seabury shrugged as he swallowed a couple of French fries.

"I dunno what he makes you do, but I'm here as a maid, I guess. I clean the whole house and usually make meals and stuff. But I haven't been doing quite as much lately. Is he making you do that?" He asked.

"A little bit. But he, um, uses me for... other things." I said, not wanting to say it. Seabury's face went pale.

"Oh God. I feel so bad for you... he's never done that to me before. He's horrible, isn't he?"

I nodded, taking a bite out of an apple.

"So, what do you wanna do while he's gone? I mean, besides leave. I still haven't found a way to leave yet and it's been four months." He said after we finished eating as much as we could.

"We could watch a movie or something, I guess. Or look around more. I've seen so many staircases but only seen the first and second floor. He mentioned something earlier about a basement and a third floor though. Have you seen them?" I said. Seabury shook his head.

"I only clean the first and second floors. Want to go check the others out?" He asked. I nodded and we hid all the traces of our feast before running up the stairs.

"Ok, running up two flights of stairs was a really bad idea." He laughed. I laughed too as we began to wander the third floor.

There are a ridiculous amount of rooms in this house. There are more bedrooms up here, along with an office and a game room. The basement was very similar, but there was also a huge ass movie room.

Seabury and I decided to sit in the cold basement and watch some random movie. It was nice to be in the presence of someone who didn't want me just for sex.

He would occasionally scoot a little closer to me or rest his hand on mine. But I'm sure it means nothing. He probably isn't used to having people around him as friends since he's been here so long. Right?

So for the time being, I guess everything is okay.
