Chapter Two: Back to Mystic Falls

I step into the airport, Nadia walking behind me. Who would have thought that we would back in Mystic Falls. Nadia decided she wanted to come back. I asked her why but she wouldn't tell me. We get out into the fresh winter air and I reach my hands up to my arms rubbing them warm. We placed our bags in the trunk and get in the back seat.

"Where are you guys off to?" The Uber driver asks

"Mrs. Flower Bed and Breakfast."

He nods and drives off

"Why there?" Nadia questions

"When I first came here its where I stayed." I answer

"The whole time?"

"Well no, then I was in the tomb, then the Salvatore's, Then Alaric's loft where Klaus kept me."

"Alaric?" She looks at me confused

"You will meet him. Eventually. I suspect he came back from the other side as well."

We get to the B & B and Nadia compels the man to let us ride for free and help get our bags out of the trunk and bring them in. As we open the door I hear the familiar bell ring above the door and per usual Mrs. Flowers would come out. She greeted us with a smile on her face.

"Katherine, my I have not seen you in so long. Who is this lovely woman with you?" She asks politely

"This Mrs. Flowers, is my daughter, Nadia."

She smiles and extends her hand.

"It is so nice to meet you. Would you like the same room Katherine?" She looks towards me.

"Yes and please give Nadia the room next to me." I smile back

"Yes. Right this way." She gestured to the hall and the driver followed.

I put my bags in my room and open the door to the room next to mine and the driver puts her bags by the dresser. She hands him a twenty and he thanks her and leaves.

"This is nice." Nadia speaks up

"Yes it is."

"Get ready. We are going to the Salvatore's. I think we should surprise them when they get home." Nadia smiles

"I like the way you think Nadia."

We get to the boarding house and walk inside.

"Hello!" I shout my voice echoing through the house. Nobody answers.

"Nobody is here." She obviously states

"Good. I miss Damon's bathtub, I'll be there if you decide to looks for me."

"We just got here and that is what you are worried about? Plus you didn't bring any clothes."

"I will borrow Elena's. Toodles." I wave my fingers at her

I make my way up the stairs and turn to the left walking into the bathroom and I draw my bath, while I wait for it to fill up I go into the closet and get clothes that I would wear out.

"At least her style got a little better." I mumble

I get back to the bath and stop the water, a thick coat of bubbles on top. I grab the silver one blade sharp edged razor. I get in the bath and flow in and I can feel my muscles relax. I start shaving as I hear footsteps as I see someone come into view.

"Why are you in my brother's bathtub Katherine?"

"The real questions is why aren't you." I smile at the familiar face

He says nothing as he stand there.

"This reminds me of something that has happened before, Silas."

He smiles.
