Katherine's POV

My eyes flutter open and it takes me a few seconds before I look around the room. The morning sun was shining through the window, shining right in my eye. I close my eyes for a few seconds and then open them back up. I look to my right and I see Silas sleeping peacefully, the blanket hanging just around his waist. I lift up the blanket and see my nakedness, reassuring me that the events of last night actually happened. I smile to myself and let out a low laugh. Silas stirs next to me, and I quickly wrap myself up in the sheet. I follow my path of clothes and toss them off to the side. I hop in the shower real quick and brush my teeth, I finish getting ready and head downstairs. I whistle to myself as I walk down the stairs and the hallway.

"Katherine?" I turn to see Stefan sitting on the red chair in the living room

"Uh, hey. Where is everyone?" I ask

"Still sleeping, where are you going?"

"You said Damon wanted to talk to me." I point towards the cellar

"Not without someone to protect you. I'll go with you."

"I don't feel like arguing so sure, you can come." I sigh

He gets out of the chair and moves towards me. I start off before him and he follows a few steps behind me.

"Did you sleep well?" He asks from behind me

"As well as I could, considering my nightmares are back."

"I'm really sorry Katherine." He apologizes

"Why apologize? It was Damon who did it not you."

"Yeah, but I left him here, at the house while we went to look for Matt. That was a mistake on my part."

I clear my throat and blink back the tears. "We should go to Damon."

I walk to the cellar door and start walking down the stairs. I get to the bottom and go straight to the cell. Damon is laying on his back, looking at the ceiling.

"Wakey, Wakey, eggs, and bakey." I smile

I watch as Damon slowly gets up and straightens his back. Stefan walks up behind me with a small glass of blood. Damon coughs and speeds over to the door, wrapping his hands around the bars. His fangs out and the veins and his bloodshot eyes showing. I don't flinch or blink as he puts on his best show.

"With the vervain in your system, you'll wear yourself out." Stefan says as he hands Damon the glass of blood.

He chugs it down really fast and licks his lips when he's done.

"Was that little stunt supposed to scare me, Damon?" I ask

"Hey, it was worth a try." He chuckles

"I have been a vampire for over five centuries. That face doesn't scare me, or will it never. Now, you wanted to talk, I'm here." I stand up straighter

"You might want Stefan to leave so he doesn't hear your diabolical plan to kill us. You know what, why don't you just tell both of us?" He smirks

I step close to where my face is almost touching the bars, inches away from Damon's face. I look into his eyes as I smile.

"I told you already Damon, I'm not up to anything. I want to co-exist, with all of you."  I give him a wink and his smirk disappears and eyes widen.

"Stefan, how can you believe her? Remember when she first came to town? What did she tell you?" He questions Stefan

Stefan stays quiet and I look at him. He closes his eyes and opens them back, and doesn't answer. I lean in close to Damon
