Silas's POV

I quickly get out of the car and go to follow her. I grab her hand lightly and pull her towards me so she's right in front of me.

"Are you going to answer me?"

"I told you we should have talked about this later, after the party." She goes to pull away

"Oh no, you don't Katerina Petrova." I pull her back, this time to my chest

"My name is Katherine, Silas. Please don't ever call me that again."

"Why?" I questions

"Because it reminds me once of the girl I used to be." She answers

"And who is that?"

"A naive, stupid, and weak little girl. A girl who has been gone for a very, very long time."

"Okay. Let's go see what Caroline has cooked up." I smile

We walk a little while before Katherine stops.

"This is new to me. I don't usually have a good time expressing my feelings, or believing what I feel is real. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I can't say 'I love you' yet because I don't know if I believe what I'm feeling and thinking is real."

"Thank you."

"For what?" She asks

"For telling me that, it means a lot." I bend down and kiss her on the cheek

We get into the dorms five minutes later and there is already tons of stuff.

"What is all of this exactly?" I ask Katherine

"Those, are jello shots. The rest you obviously already know." She points at the colorful cups

"Jello shots and a keg? That's Caroline's kind of party?" I ask

"Alcohol is EVERYONE'S kind of party unless they don't drink, then they are just boring. Let's go find Caroline."

We walk upstairs and to I'm assuming Caroline's room. Katherine knocks and there is no answer, she looks at me with a confused look.

"Caroline?" She asks opening the door

Once she opens the door Katherine stops and stares in shock with her mouth open.

"Oh my God, Katherine." She gasps, quickly covering herself with her shirt.

Katherine's POV

I open the door and I see Caroline, with her shirt off, making out with Klaus. My mouth drops in shock and I stop right in my tracks.

"Oh my God, Katherine," Caroline says

"I-I knocked. I need to go." I go to turn away before I feel a grip on my arm and I jump

I turn around and it's Caroline. I let out a breath of relief and she notices it.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." She apologizes

"I have to go, Klaus and you. You and Klaus. I c-can't handle this."

"Please Katherine, don't tell Elena. Or Tyler." She begs

"Why would I tell Tyler? Why would he care?" I asks

"Klaus killed his mother and I-I..." She pauses

"Cause that's what he does Caroline, he kills the people that everyone cares about just because someone crosses him. Why would you sleep with him? Of all people, I'm disgusted." I stop when I am pinned against the wall by my neck

"You don't talk to her like that!" He shouts speeding over to me and pins up against the wall

"Klaus, stop! Put her down." Caroline yells

He tightens his grips around my neck, next thing I know he's on the ground groaning. He lets out a shout and grips his head with his hands. He keeps screaming in pain as I watch as Silas concentrate on him. Silas moves his hand and one of Klaus's bones crack and he screams out in pain again. Silas just keeps repeating the process as Caroline yells at him to stop, "That he's hurting him." I just stand there frozen and watch. I don't do anything and think about what he did to my family, he deserves this. But I snap out of it when Caroline says those five words.

"Stop, he has a daughter!" She shouts

"Silas," I say gently, grabbing his arm.

He automatically stops as he looks over at me. Caroline is now by Klaus's side, checking on him.

"Tell me one reason why Silas shouldn't kill him right now?" I question her raising my eyebrow

"Didn't you hear me? He has a daughter." She states again

"So did my mother and father, he killed one of them and chased the other down for five hundred years. Why does he of all people deserve to live?"

"Okay, if not him then how about me? Stefan, Elena, Damon? He dies, we die. Then think about his daughter, she'll grow up without a father."

"His daughter would be better off without him." I scoff

Klaus regains his strength and gets up. "How dare you talk about my daughter that way!" He shouts

He tries to run over to me again and he drops to the floor once more in pain.

"You have done nothing but ruin my life, killed my whole entire family, caused me pain. You are lucky this is the only pain you are going through." I say as he falls to the ground, his neck snapped

I breathe out and look at Caroline. "I won't tell Elena, this is your secret to tell. Do me a favor and keep that sociopath away from me." I point at dead Klaus on the floor

"Thank you, Katherine."

"It wasn't for you, it was for my daughter. He dies, and she dies along with him. Come on Silas, let's get ready. We have a party to get to." I intertwine his arm with mine and walk out the door, using my powers to close it.

We leave and I let out a heavy breath I didn't know I was holding in. I feel a hand on my lower back and I jump.

"Sorry, are you okay?" He asks gently

I shake my head no as he wraps his arms around my body. I'm shaking as I take him in, we stand there for a few minutes before I stop shaking. "I won't ever let him hurt you." He whispers in my ear

"I know."
