Silas's POV

"You are?" I ask

"Yes, but not yet."

"What the hell do you mean not yet!?" I shout

"Silas you really need to control your temper."

"I can't!" I raise my voice

"Why not?"

"Because I can't stand around and let you get hurt." I admit

"You can't be there every time I'm hurt. I obviously handled it myself. I don't need some guy coming to my rescue every five minutes. I'm Katherine Freaking Pierce. I don't need to be saved!"

"I'm sorry that I care about you." My tone softens

"Well maybe that's the problem."

Her words ripped the air from my lungs.  Anger filled me as I let out a heavy sigh. I rush in front of her and grab her cheek in my hand. I try as hard I can not to look into her eyes, the eyes that remind me so much of Amara's. I can feel her breath touching my hand. She closes her eyes at my touch and she doesn't open them until I remove my hand. She reaches for my hand, wanting it back on her face. I watch silently as she brings her hand down to mine and then back up to her face. She gently places my hand back onto her face. My anger goes away as I suck in a breath at the touch of her leaning into my hand.

"I'm sorry." She whispers

She moves her head to connect her lips to the my  palm. She places a soft kiss on the ball of my hand. A shot of electricity pulses through me in a rush. I loved the touch of her lips on me, I wonder how good it would feel on my neck, my chest, my abs. I can only imagine. I could also imagine my lips all over her body, could she? I would love nothing more than to touch her anywhere and everywhere. I'm snapped out of my thoughts when I hear Elena's shrill voice calling out my name.

"Thank God. You guys are still here." She breathes

"What? You just ruined a perfect moment."

Elena's face marked with confusion and she looked over to Katherine who was looking at the ground. Was she ashamed? She shouldn't be ashamed for anything, I hope she wasn't. But I had no time to think about that right now.

"Let me talk to Damon. I can convince him to stop his nonsense, just don't kill him. Please?" She pleaded with me

"Tell me why I shouldn't hurt him for hurting her." The anger coming back at the mention of his name

"Just let me talk to him. Katherine has screwed us over so many times, many more than I can count. That's in the past though, she's trying to be a better person, I can see that. I forgave her, Stefan and Caroline have forgiven her. I can convince him to forgive her too, to forget all the bad things she has ever done to him. Just let me talk to him."

"She doesn't need his forgiveness. She's Katherine Freaking Pierce. He has one more time to mess up Elena, only one more. If it happens again all bets are off, Katherine and I will start a war, and this time.... she's not going to stop it and you will all regret it. Katherine, ready to go?" I put it all out there

Katherine opens the car door and gets in and closes it. I follow in pursuit, getting in the car I turn on the engine and I drive off.

Katherine's POV

I notice the white of Silas's knuckles as he grips the steering wheel. He keeps his eyes glued to the road ahead of us.

"Where are we going?" I ask

"We are getting a hotel away from this God forsaken college." He growls lowly

"You are so hot right now. Hurry and get to the hotel." I demand

"Yes ma'am." A smirk marks his face

Minutes later we arrive and more minutes later Silas comes out with a key card and we make our way to the room. He sticks the card into slot and then opens the door. The light turns on automatically and the first thing I notice is the queen bed smack dab in the middle of the room. A 40 inch TV was plastered on the wall in front of the the bed. I get to the bed and lay down, the comforter gathering around me. I close my eyes just for a brief second and let the comfort take over, eventually darkness comes and I fall asleep.

                                                                                                   ...

I wake up with a jolt finding the right side of the bed empty. I look down and my clothes are gone and the only thing clinging to my petite body is Silas's shirt. I turn to see Silas walking out of the bathroom, a towel clinging dangerously low on his hips, his V line prominent. My eyes roam from the towel all the way up to his chest.

"Like what you see?" He asks flirtatiously

"Nothing I haven't seen before, except you are missing the rose tattoo on your right arm. But hey, who am I to complain. I must admit I do love the sight. I wonder what's under that towel of yours though." I give him a wink

"I can show you, if you want." He teases

I bite my lip and stare into his eyes while doing so.

"Get dressed. Classes start at 11:00." I smile

"You are kind of wearing my shirt." He points to it

"Oh, you mean this one." I grab a hold of the shirt and pull it up to my nose taking in a whiff

"Mmmm smells good." I wink

I slowly get off the bed not shying away from the stare Silas is giving me. I place my hands under the hem of my shirt. He watches me intently never taking his eyes away from my actions. I feel the air on my navel as the shirt slowly makes its way up, my black lace panties showing off my long legs. I continue taking the shirt off slowly, I see his reaction and hear him sucking in his breath as the shirt uncovers my matching lace bra. I finally remove it from my head and when My eyes are uncovered I notice Silas is standing a mere few inches from my face. His eyes focused on my body then on my lips. I dart out my tongue licking my bottom lip, then slowly drags it across my top one. Silas leans down and I stand on my tip toes, he goes in for a kiss but I pull away before he could touch his lips with mine. He lets out a puff of air as I stand flat on my feet and pull away from him.

"Katherine..." He pauses

"What? Tell me." I softly demand

"I think I'm falling in love with you."
