"Hey Ms. Black." Hilda greeted, gaining entrance to her friend's home.
The woman who allowed Hilda's entrance smiled and nodded, "Hello Hilda. Rosa is just upstairs with Hugh."
Anger boiled in Hilda's veins, "Hugh? Oh man he's gonna die today..."
"What?"
"We had words the other day. It's nothing." Hilda assured. She lied. It was something.
Hilda climbed the stairs and took the familiar path to her friend's room. Upon reaching her destination, she found the door closed. Not finding that particularly unusual, she opened the door without knocking.
Upon seeing the display in front of her she covered her eyes immediately, "You guys! What are you doing?!"
She heard her friends shuffle and curse.
"Shit, Hilda shh!" Rosa's voice said.
Hilda complied, not finding any words to say anyway.
"You can open your eyes now." Rosa said after a few seconds.
"I don't know if I want to." Hilda admitted.
"Oh just open them!"
Reluctantly, Hilda uncovered her eyes and directed her attention to her friends. Rosa wore nothing but Hugh's shirt and his underwear and Hugh wore just his pants.
Hilda closed the door behind her, "So...Hugh...congrats on...you." She said.
Hugh blushed, "Uh...thanks."
"Um...I would love an explanation right about now."
Rosa stepped in, "So uh Hugh and I are kinda...dating..."
Hilda's face lit up, "Really?"
Rosa gave a relieved smile, "Yeah!"
Hilda suddenly glared at her friends, "For how long?"
Hugh coughed, "Uh...two weeks."
"Were you planning on telling me?"
"No not really."
"Excuse me?"
"It's not just from you Hilda," Rosa explained, "We're hiding it from everyone! Especially our parents."
Hilda must've looked confused.
"If our parents knew we were dating, we'd never be allowed alone together! We couldn't have movie nights, sleepovers, or just hang out!"
"So...you won't tell your parents because you want to be able to have sex?"
Hugh nodded, "Basically."
Rosa hit his chest. Hugh complained.
"It's not just that, Hilda. It's...what if we didn't work out? We don't wanna get everyone excited if it might not work!" Rosa said.
Hilda crossed her arms, "You think I'm gonna buy that?"
Rosa sighed, "I wouldn't expect you to understand."
"Oh yeah. Having to keep a relationship a secret? Yeah. I wouldn't get that at all." Hilda said sarcastically.
Rosa crossed her arms and pouted, "Whatever, virgin." She mumbled.
Hilda raised an eyebrow, "You wanna test me, Rosa? Your mom is within shouting distance."
Rosa and Hugh both went pale.
"That's what I thought."
"You have to keep this a secret, Hilda!" Rosa pleaded, "I don't want to have a chaperone every time I wanna hang out with Hugh!"
Hilda sighed, "Fine. But do me a favor."
"Anything!"
"Lock your door!"
Rosa and Hugh blushed. They nodded, agreeing to Hilda's terms and conditions.
