(A/N. Here's the thing. NOW before you read it, it's going to get DRASTICALLY changed in the future. This is completely unedited because, as I said, it's getting changed. This was basically just an outline. So here. Enjoy this trash.)

"So you don't know anything about humans?" Hilda asked, licking her ice cream cone.

N shook his head, "Absolutely nothing. Especially human women."

"Really?"

"Yeah. My father always told me, 'Women are dirty liars...Except for your sisters! You listen to them!'" He chuckled, licking the melting sides of his ice cream.

Hilda laughed, "So like, you know nothing nothing."

"Well I do know what makes men and women physically different...but I didn't learn that until I was fifteen."

"Wow you weren't kidding."

"Nope."

"I may be overstepping here, but how come he sheltered you so much?"

N frowned, "I don't know...I think he must not have wanted me getting distracted."

Hilda and N sat down on a bench, "Fair enough, I guess. But I feel like that would distract me more. Not knowing?"

N chuckled, "Well it's not like I didn't know women existed. There were my sisters and the grunts. Zorua also did his best to educate me on human women, but that didn't go very well."

"Since he's a Pokémon."

N nodded and finished his ice cream cone. He frowned and wiped his hands on his pants, despite his hands being clean.

Hilda quickly consumed the rest of her ice cream, getting a small headache.

N spoke, but his eyes were on his feet, "Can...Can I tell you something?"

Hilda rubbed her temples, "Yeah?"

"You won't think I'm crazy?"

"I already think you're crazy." Hilda chuckled.

N furrowed his eyebrows together, "I can never tell when you're joking..."

"I am joking," Hilda confirmed, "What's up?"

N shoved his hands in his pants pockets, "Sometimes...I feel...wrong."

Hilda raised an inquisitive eyebrow, "Wrong?"

N nodded, "I don't feel human." He said, "Like I'm a Pokémon trapped inside a human's body. I feel like I don't fit in."

"Well...that's a good thing." Hilda said.

N looked at Hilda in surprise, "How?"

"It's good to be different, N."

N sighed, "But it's like I wasn't supposed to be human. Like I was supposed to be a Pokémon! I'm wrong!"

Hilda shook her head, "No, you're different."

N takes and focused his gaze on the ground, "I feel so trapped..." he whispered.

"You've got the heart of a human and the soul of a Pokémon. I think that's pretty cool."

N blushed, "May I be honest?"

"Always."

"You are the only person who makes me feel right." N confessed, risking a glance at the brunette next to him.

Now it was Hilda's turn to blush.

"You make me feel human, Hilda."

Hilda's whole face became a scarlet color and she looked down at her shoes, suddenly finding them very interesting.

"Can I be honest, too?" She asked.

N nodded, "Always."

"You make me feel right, too. Like I'm special."

"Aren't you?"

Hilda frowned and her blush disappeared, "Not really. I've never really stood out. Cheren's always been the smartest and Bianca's always been the prettiest, so I kind of just get overlooked. But you! It's like...you see me even though I'm nothing special."

"You're special to me."

Hilda blushed and looked up to see N staring at her. They had a small staring contest before N looked away, his face turning a bright pink.

He coughed, "Correct me if I'm wrong but...When two humans like each other they can...kiss?"

Hilda's heart pounded, hoping she knew where this was going, "Yeah?"

N didn't look at her as he asked, "Could...Could you and I maybe...try?"

"Yes."

Mustering up all the confidence he could, N scooted closer to Hilda and slowly brought his hand up to her cheek. As he leaned in and pressed his lips to Hilda's, Butterfree erupted in both trainer's stomachs. The kiss only lasted a few seconds, but it was the best few seconds of Hilda's life.

N dropped his hand from Hilda's cheek and cleared his throat, "I see why humans do that." He said, his voice cracking a bit.

Hilda giggled, "Yeah...me too."
