(A/N: So, I actually had an idea for once. Before I get to it, the applications for Co.Writers are still going! Now, this chapter was meant to be the end of chapter 7. So, completely ignore the last paragraphs of that last chapter. The first paragraph of this chapter is where you should cut the last chapter off. I hope that makes sense... This is kind of sad at first. But bare with me!)

Nerris finally went down, Shadow pinning her arms to the floor. "Looks like I was right. It was a pleasure fighting you. You are very skilled. It's shame I have to kill you now." He said.

The girl struggled against her opponent. "You won't kill me, or anyone else!" She yelled.

The demon laughed, "That's where you're wrong. I've been planning this ever since Harrison made that tiny mistake of giving in. He's so gullible! And you and that other boy tried to save him. You're good people, I'm not going to lie."

Nerris' eyes started to fill with tears. She knew Harrison, her Harrison, was still in there.

"Harrison! Harrison, listen to me! You have to fight back! Please!" She said. A flash of her friend shown through, "Nerris! I can't control him! You have to kill hi-" The magic boy quickly started a sentence, but was also quickly cut off.

"That's enough! Let's get this over with." Shadow sighed, raising his sword above Nerris' chest.

"N-no....."

With a quick motion, the blade was stuck through her. Nerris gasped, as Shadow stood up. "It seems my job is done here. And for your information, Harrison's brother is back at his house. I'm not a complete monster, I just wanted to ruin his life. Goodbye." He said.

Harrison took over his body, and emedietly fell on his knees next to his friend. "Nerris!! Nerris come on, stay with me." He yelled, propping her up on his legs.

"Hey... Hospital.... Now...." Nerris said, smiling at the boy. He nodded, and dialed 9-1-1.

"9-1-1, what's your emergency?"

"M-my girlfriend's been stabbed!! She's b-bleeding, and my o-other friend is knocked out!!"

"Okay, sir. Do you know who stabbed her? An ambulance is on its way now."

"I-I don't know!! They didn't even l-leave the knife!!" He lied.

"Stay on the line with me please."

Harrison kept talking to the women.

Someone violently knocked on the door, then came up the stairs. "Thank God! Please help her!!" The boy yelled. "We will, move out of the way so we can take her to the hospital." The nurse said.

Another person checked on Preston. Everyone ran outside to the ambulance. Harrison held Nerris' hand the whole way there, occasionally saying something like, "I'm so sorry." "You'll be okay." "I'm so stupid."

She was rushed inside, leaving the boy to only worry. He tried to keep his emotions contained, because something bad might happen if he let them loose. A doctor came out into the waiting room, where Harrison was.

"Sir, we'll need to do emergency surgery. After that, your girlfriend should be okay." The man claimed. "Thank you. Thank you so much." Harrison said, a smile on his face. He didn't like that he'd roped Nerris into his personal life, much less hurt her. After about an hour, Preston came out to meet Harrison.

"Preston! Thank God!" The magic boy exclaimed, pulling his friend into an embrace. "Heh, I was doing some pretty amazing acting, wasn't I?" He teased. Harrison filled Preston in on what had happened, since he was knocked out at the time. Nurses came in and out of the operation room, giving the two boys smiles as they walked past.

They both sighed, soon getting bored of waiting. "Hey, Harri," That was Preston's nickname for Harrison, "Should we call Nerris' parents? She's injured and in the hospital, shouldn't they know?"

Harrison nodded, "They should. But we can't just tell them she was stabbed by a random person. They're giving me the privilege of staying at their house all year. I was technically supposed to protect their daughter while they were away. And here we are....." He explained.

Preston agreed. They both knew they'd have to bend the truth. Maybe I could use a little magic...Harrison thought. After discussing possible lies, they had a set one.

The idea is, that Nerris, Harrison, and Preston were messing around. And Nerris slipped whilst holding her sword. That was their excuse.

A doctor wheeled their friend into the waiting room. She looked tired, otherwise nothing else looked wrong. "Nerris!!" The boys yelled in unison.

"Yeah yeah. I'm here." She said, smiling. "We patched her up. She's ready to go home, but no major actions." The doctor said.

Harrison shook the man's hand, "Thank you so much, sir." He responded with a nod, and left them to tend to someone else.

"On a scale from one to ten, how much did you miss me?" Nerris teased. The magic boy hugged his girlfriend carefully, "That's not a big enough scale, I'd say about 98."

With that, they left the hospital. Nerris called her parents, and they said they'd be home the next day. Preston went back to his house, to give the other two some privacy.

The magic kids spent a long time talking. Not even about previous events, they just talked. Harrison hoped that things would go back to normal, well, as normal as two magical kids can be.

A/N: Yes I know, it was kind of short. But I actually like it! I'm hoping to start writing more again. School's been kicking my butt! But, I'll try to find more time for Wattpad! See ya!
