Jack's P.O.V.

Jelsa was in such a panic I hadn't been able to keep from running after her. She yelled at her father and then her and her mother went to her mother's room. I stood next to the closed door listening.

"Jelsa your father isn't your father." Queen Elsa said. Then I fell over and hit the door causing it to fall open. I smiled nervously at Jelsa and her mother. The older she got the more they looked alike. Well except for Jelsa's hair and eyes. Her hair was so dark brown it was practically black, you only knew it was brown by the way the sun hit it sometimes. Her eyes were what got people's attention. They were a warm chocolate brown that had amber rings in them. They were one of the things I loved most about her. Wait no! I didn't love anything about her because I didn't love her! I couldn't love a princess as just my peasant self.

"Jack Overland!" Jelsa squealed. I laughed nervously.

"Hey Snowflake." I said. Her lovely face reddened with anger. I gulped.

"Were you spying on us? I can't believe you! Get out!" She said. She took my hand and pulled me to the gates. She looked at me and I gave a wide smile.

"I'll see you at your party tomorrow." I said. She smiled slightly.

"See you tomorrow Jack Overland." She said. She only used my full name when she was upset about something. I walked home to play with Emily and worried about Jelsa.

Jelsa's P.O.V.

I had spent the rest of the day in my room. I hadn't known I'd fallen asleep until I woke up to Ella.

"Jelsa, happy birthday!" Ella cheered with joy. I groaned and blinked my eyes open. There were small bits of sand and black snow on my bed but they were quickly disappearing due to the snow fall being caused by Ella. I smiled and hugged her.

"Thanks Ella, has Mother woken up yet?" I asked. Ella looked at me confused.

"Yeah, did something happen? You were yelling in Mom's room yesterday and then you spent the rest of your day in your room, Jelsa I could hear you crying." Ella said. I gave her a weak smile.

"I'm fine, okay? There's nothing for you to worry about." I told her. She smiled and grabbed my hand.

"Come on then! Darren made chocolate chip pancakes!" Ella cheered. We ran to the dining room and everyone looked at me surprised. My hair wasn't as bad but pretty close to Aunt Anna's bed head. I was also in my nightgown. I never left my room in such an untidy manner. I blushed then shrugged and sat down next to Aunt Anna. I probably ate about five whole pancakes, and these were not small pancakes. I quickly ran to my room to get dressed. I was trying to pick a dress out when Mother came in the room.

"Jelsa, I got you a dress. You don't have to wear it if you don't want but." Mother said. I gave her a smile.

"Sure then I don't have to pick a dress out, and we all know it'll be tomorrow before I find one I want to wear." I said. Mother smiled and handed me a box. I pulled it out and grinned. The dress was similar to Mother's but didn't have the long train or slit on the leg. It was and indigo color with the sleeves black. I stepped behind the changing curtain and got dressed in it. I stepped out and Mother smiled.

"You look beautiful." She said, then laughed.

"Now let's do something about that hair." Mother said and picked up a hairbrush from my vanity. She combed my hair until it shined and actually looked smooth. She put it in a simple braid and was about to put it up in my usual manner but I stopped her.

"I think a simple braid will look nicer." I said. She smiled and then our attention turned to one small lock of hair that refused to stay put. Mother laughed then created a snowflake barett to hold it in place. Mother helped me put on my gray eye shadow and lip gloss. She stepped back and smiled with what actually looked like pride in her eyes. I looked at my hands.

"Do you have a pair of matching gloves for this dress?" I asked.

"I know you're scared but you don't need any gloves, I won't let you try to conceal it like I did, you need to embrace your powers and learn to live with them." Mother said and I nodded. I stood up and we walked out into the ballroom. Mother looked at me and I smiled. Everyone was running around preparing things so I decided to help Mother with the decorations. Mother told me that I had to focus on what I wanted to make then just hold my hands out. I shot a snowfalke design over the thrones and continued to decorate putting tiny little details and stuff on the main parts. I didn't even notice how quiet the ballroom got. I stopped and looked to see everyone staring at me. I smiled awkwardly.

"Hello." I said. I laughed nervously and then Mother came and stood next to me.

"Let's all get to work, some of us have powers that develope at different speeds." Mother said and everyone went back to what they were doing. I was nervous to tell Jack about my powers just as I started to think about him frost formed on my hands. I slowed my rapid breathing and went on to waiting for everyone to arrive.
