JJ's P.O.V.

I smiled and looked in the mirror, being here alone had made Jelsa's will to keep control weaker, and I had won. Finally. I laughed and decided to do some redecorating, Jelsa had gone simple with this ice palace. I sent black sand to make designs on the ice. Images of all Jelsa's greatest nightmares displayed themselves on the walls. I smirked, some nightmares she didn't even know she feared, they had been kept down so deep inside. I made the throne so much bigger, and put much more black sand in the designs. Jelsa liked using the ice too much, the sand was what made things eye catching. I finally sat down in the throne when I thought things were satisfactory, Jelsa was terrified only being able to see her greatest fears through my eyes. I sighed happily with my work and snapped my fingers, soon the reindeers would be here, the only good creations she could make. And only one of them was good for anything.

Darren's P.O.V.

I was sitting in the snow as the trolls worked on my shoulder. Dad and Mom stood behind me. Mom wouldn't let go of my hand. My brother Ollie was playing with some of the other trolls. Grand Pappy did some magic and the ice cold pain started to leave my arm. I sighed and soon we were getting ready to leave. I was ready to go home when we saw Wren and Drecker making their way towards the north mountain. I knew they could always find Jelsa if she called for them. My aunt Queen Elsa rode on her horse following them. I grabbed the reins to my bay gelding and swung into the saddle. Mom grabbed the reins from me.

"Oh no you don't, you are not going after them." Mom said. I smiled and shrugged taking the reins back.

"Mom, I'll be fine, and if you don't trust me, then come with." I said. I kicked my horse into a run, following the reindeer to the north mountain. Mom ended up following on her horse. Dad had gone to take Ollie home. The air got colder and colder the closer we got to the north mountain. Then after a while black snow started to fall, mixed with the Queen's white snow. I gulped and looked up at the north mountain and saw a black ice palace. It was beautiful but terrifying at the same time. I kicked my horse into a gallop and was the first one up to the palace. I was about to knock on the door when the Queen put a hand on my shoulder.

"Please, let me talk to her first." She asked. I nodded and stepped aside. The Queen knocked on the door and it swung open. She stepped inside and the door slammed shut. There was a small crack in the door so I watched what was happening through it.

"Jelsa-"

"Oh no, I'm JJ the better version, anyways darling, what do you want?" JJ wasn't in my sight but I could see when she lifted her hands. Elsa had her back towards me and that was all I could make out through the crack.

"Jelsa please, I know you're in there, you've gotta help me out, they say have courage and you're trying to, I'm right out here for you, just come on out, we only each other it's just you and me, what are we gonna do? Do you want to build a snowman?" Elsa sang. There was a low hum, which I knew was Jelsa/JJ, her voice deeper than the queen's.

"No! I don't to want to build a snowman! Or do anything with you, I'm on my own up here, where monster's can be free, you have plenty other's, you don't need me, just leave me be, I'd rather die than go back down, no! I don't want to build a snowman." It seemed like it was Jelsa and JJ both trying to answer together. Elsa took a few steps forward.

"Jelsa please, just calm down, we can figure this out!" Elsa sang.

"No we can't, I've lost hope that this pain will go away, she's taking hold!"

"Don't bother trying to safe your daughter! She's a foooool! For falling in love!"

"You're a fool for underestimating my little girl!"

"Her heart is weak!"

"She's the strongest I've ever known!"

"The only good heart is a frozen one! I'm starting to think your's would be better that waaaay!"

"Jelsa! You've gotta fight, baby, you're stronger than her!"

"She doesn't stand a chance now you might want to run!"

"I'm not leaving without my giiiirrrrl!"

"Then you won't be leaving at all!" I saw a flash then saw Elsa stumble back, she clutched her heart and I forced open the doors.

"Aunt Elsa!" I yelled. I slid to her side with my mother behind me. We both glared up at JJ. But by the terrified expression on her face, I knew it was Jelsa. She covered her mouth and tears sprung into her eyes.

"M-mommy! Mommy no! I'm-I'm so sorry." Jelsa said. Then we heard horses and a reindeer.

"In here!" I yelled. Shelby and Dad ran in. Shelby saw Elsa and ran over, she pulled her hair up to Elsa's heart and sang.

"Flower gleam and glow, let your power shine! Make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine!
Heal what has been hurt, change the Fates' design! Save what has been lost, bring back what once was mine! What once was mine!" Elsa didn't look any better, in fact she looked worse.

"I-I don't understand, my hair should work, why isn't she better?" Shelby asked. Elsa smiled sadly.

"Because not only is her ice in my heart, but it's attracting all mine. I can't be saved, and I'll likely freeze faster." She said. Her finger tips were already frozen in black ice. She shuddered.

"The cold never bothered me, but it does now." She said. She stood up and walked over to Jelsa. Jelsa hugged her mom.

"You need to find the trolls, they can help you, but right now you need to leave!" Jelsa shouted. Her reindeer took guard in front of her and pushed us all out, we rushed Elsa to the trolls but they couldn't do anything.

"No! There has to be some cure!" Mom yelled, her blue eyes rimmed with red. Her two braids had locks of hair falling out, you could tell she was ready to cry. She turned to Elsa.

"Elsa, we're going to fix this, I'm not giving up on you!" Mom said. Elsa shivered and then we heard one of Jelsa's reindeer let out a loud call, heard all the way from the North Mountain. Elsa turned to look at the mountain and that was when she froze. Her body became solid black ice. Mom stared in disbelief.

"Elsa! No! Elsa please." Mom said and held Elsa's frozen face in her hands. She stared crying and hugged her frozen sister.

"Elsa please, I need you back, I'll ask you once more, just one more time, do you want to build a snowman? It doesn't have to be a snowman!" Mom sang before her voice cracked and she broke into sobs. I brushed away some tears and hugged Shelby as she wept. Dad stared in disbelief, as if it seemed impossible that Aunt Elsa was gone forever.
