-two years later-

Jack's P.O.V.

I waved to our parents and took Emily's hand. We going skating today. I laughed as Emily beamed up at me. I had asked Jelsa if she wanted to come but she had said no. Lately she'd been in her room all the time, Darren had told me she was thinking of leaving the castle again. I shook my head, today I was going to have some fun with my sister, that's all I wanted to do.

-half an hour later-

"You're not gonna fall in, we're gonna have some instead." I said.

"No we're not." Emily said.

"Would I trick you?" I asked Emily, she stood on thin ice. She was terrified.

"Yes, you always play tricks." She said.

"Well, I'm not tricking you." I said. I grabbed a stick that had a hook at the end. She took a step forward and just as the ice began to crack more, I hooked her with the staff and swung her to safety. I moved and smiled at Emily when she realized she wouldn't fall in. She smiled and then I heard a thunderous crack. Suddenly I was looking up, I was looking up through the water. My lungs burned, I was so scared, and I so cold, normally the cold didn't bug me but this, this was beyond cold, this was freezing.

Pitch's P.O.V.

Finally, I had managed, to get that Jackson Overland out of my way. Now all that was left was Queen Elsa. I laughed. Everything was going so well.

Jelsa's P.O.V.

The messenger came over to me just before sundown. I was out of my room because Jack was coming over to hang out. I looked up at the messenger, his face was grim.

"Princess Jelsa, I'm afraid I have bad news." He said. Immediately my mind went to Jack, afraid it had something to do with him. I swallowed. We'd been dating for the past two years.

"Well, what is it?" I asked after he'd been quiet.

"Mister Jackson Overland, he was in an accident."

"Is he okay?!"

"I'm afraid not."

"What happened?"

"He was skating with Miss Emily Overland when they were caught on thin ice, Jackson got his sister to safety, but he fell in, his body was not found." The messenger said. I put a hand on the nearest table to me, suddenly Ella's face was in my mind, she was smiling wearing her one of our matching necklaces. Her voice rang in my head.

"We'll always be together with these." And then Jack, his infamous wide grin on his face, then his voice joined Ella's.
"Come on, it'll be fun."

And then I fell to my knees. Black ice shot from my hand on the table. It didn't just stay on the table. It went everywhere, ice formed from my feet as well, soon the whole castle was covered in a thin layer of black ice and sand. I started crying.

"Jelsa! Jelsa, what's wrong?" Uncle Kristoff asked. He came over to me and put a hand on my shoulder. I looked up at him.

"Jack's, Jack's gone. He's dead." I got out. I put my head in my hands and balled. Jack, Jack. I couldn't believe he was gone, just like Ella.
