1. The Βοar

Freyria wakes up in her tent by a very annoying bell, soon Frick Volca opens the tent and speaks to her with his heavy accent.

"Good morning beauty, I hope you got enough rest because we have a head to transfer back in Saltharbour before it roots!"

"What head?" Freyria says in a sleepy voice. Exhaustion almost made her forget about what happened last night.

"Niccon Coshaq's of course, darling! Take this you must be starving, if not you will on the road. We are leaving in a while!" Frick says and tosses her a piece of cooked meat. Freyria fails to catch the piece Frick tossed and it falls on the dirty scraps of cloth laying on the ground, Freyria disgusted to even touch it, as she never eats meat, just leaves it there. She thought that she wasn't really that hungry.

Later, she goes outside her tent and the shine of the bright sun hurts her eyes. The smell of sea and meat the army cooked in mass fills her lungs. She sees soilders scraping the tents and riding their horses, she then sees the banner, the brown round shield and a silver ship over it, on top of the stake of the banner the head of Niccon stands nailed. Frick grabs the banner and with a whistle he calls Freyria to come.

"Come here, fine lady!" He says.

Freyria follows him and they both go to Frick's tall black horse. Frick lifts her up onto the horse and he also rides it and shouts.

"KING'S GUARDS AND ELITES, MARCH!"

A hundred men start marching right behind Frick on their horses. Bowmen, Spearmen and swordsmen on silver light armour protect Frick, and the journey to Saltharbour begins.

Elder Freyria and  young Frick march silent on the same horse. Freyria looks disgusted being near a man like him. She looks up to the banner where Niccon's head is. A so kind man she barely knew, it seemed to her she knew him for ages. He protected and died for her like he had the most precious gem in the world, she thought. She looks behind her sees Frick's men also marching on foot and some of them on their horses too. Despite being protected by a hundred swords, she feels no safety near anyone of them.

She sees on her right the coast and beyond it the sea, and just quite further the coast of the Wastelands. She is thinking that on the other side of the sea, thousands upon thousands of other barbarians live.

Barbarias have been passing the Thieves Sea to get to the south Kingdoms since forever. Even as a little girl she remembers overhearing the monks in the Icelands, speaking about the latest fights that have taken place on this very land she is walking on right now.

Freyria grew up as an orphan. She never met her parents. Her parents abandoned her on a shrine of the Ice God in Icelands when she was a baby. The local monks found the nearly dead from the frost baby and protected her. She grew up in the temples alongside the monks and became a priestress at a very young age. She met Lance the II when he came to Icelands with his father and they fall in love with each other at first sight.

After traveling for about an hour Frick decided to finally break the silence and speaks to Freyria.

"My lady, I have introduced myself, but I still know nothing about you." Frick looks up to Niccon's head and continues saying.

"Niccon, this blonde haired fool, did everything to protect you. An entire full-armed ship just for one lady. Even when his ship was ablaze he abandoned his men just to save you,  you must be someone of Royal Family, a queen maybe?"
