2. A Wild Wind.
Far away from the dense forests of the west main land, even further from Saltharbour and the deep sea of War, there is a chain of rocky islands, hard for any ship to sail and any man to step on. Yet on those harsh islands with unfertile earth and steep cliffs at any way, Coshaqs have built an uninvaded strong city, that of Cliffside, with the palace just on the edge of a huge cliff over the deep sea. A city protected by its own natural granite walls and the hardened people occupying it.
The Coshaqs are master sailors and most of their food comes from trade and piracy. The Coshaqs are the biggest nuisance to the Theeran Cities on the west . But the Volcas always wanted control of that sea and so war was imminent.
Wildwind, a well built man on his middle age. Normal height, with long spiky, white hair, a light white beard, big ears with two gold earrings on his left one and an old black scar on his cheek. Wakes up on his bed, he stands up and dresses his naked body.
He takes a look at the window of his room. A very steep cliff leading to the sea, which hits violently hits the cliffside with huge waves. It sounds like an entire navy crashes on the rocks of the island every time a wave hits the cliff. This sound, scary and unbearable for foreigners, it is music for the ears of the Coshaqs.
Wildwind walks into his throne room on the bottom floor of the tall tower his family is living.
The throne room is on the bottom floor of the tower. The first room you enter when you get in the tower. A stone room with a long brown carpet laying on the floor, all the way to the risen throne. A silver coloured throne with markings of a wolfs head at the front side of the back.A big chandelier with a lot of candles, lights the entire room during the night.
As Wildwind gets inside his throne room where his breakfast awaits him ready, a servant goes up to him putting on his "wolfskin" a thick woolen cloak, representative of his title. Just like the crown in other cities.
"Good morning, king Wildwind. The navy is ready to sail againist the navy of Fourtuna Volca. Shall they set sail?" The servant says.
"Oh, give me a break with all your bullshit! I've just woke up, idiot!" Wildwind angrily says and gets to his throne where his breakfast is.
As Wildwind sits on the throne a small table is infront of his with a plate of eggs and bread and another plate of deer meat. As Wildwind eats the egg he gets a sour face and says...
"Who the hell cooked this atrocity?!"
"It was the cooks call to prepare some deer, my lord, we got a lot of it from a ship our sailors stole from the Theerans." The servant answers.
"Tell that fat fool that I prefer to eat him rather than... this! Just because the Theerans are idiots and eat whatever stands on it's four feet, doesn't means that we need to eat it too! Take this away from me!"
Wildwind gets mad and stands up and takes the plate with the deer himself and throws it from the big window at the back wall from the throne into the huge cliff all the way into the sea.Wildwind holds the last slice of bread and gets to the servant while eating it.
"Please, tell me my weapon's ship is here. We almost emptied our treasury for this Boar guy's weapons. This breakfast made my day start very badly."
