Chapter twenty: Fear of the Fire
"Wow! Gas exploded inside. Who let the gas in the hotel? Stupid service. I knew they're going to burn this hotel down," Miley said while getting up. She wasn't hurt, though, but she looked furious. It was her place, still.
There was fire around us. We weren't hurt by chance of luck.
"Great. Now, we're officially in the hell," she said looking at the fire, grinning like a crazy person.
"This building is going to blow into the pieces. We need to get off," I said looking for an exit. I knew if we stayed here, we would die eventually by smoke or fire itself.
"Oh, no. A little fire isn't going to ruin my fun. Don't be scared of fire, sweetie," Miley was angry at me, disappointed.
My strength disappeared. I couldn't attack her again.
"Don't be a wimp, Lindsey! Attack me," she made new cuts on my body, wanting to bring my strength back so I could play with her.
I was bleeding and I felt so tired.
I couldn't block her.
I couldn't attack her.
I was useless now.
"I can't," I whispered and fell down from the roof.
