"Good, you're calm now. You can get out of these chains." Snapping her fingers, dark matter engulfs the metal cuffs, eroding it and successfully freeing his hands and arms.

"See, that's not so bad, isn't it?"

"U.A.'s annual Sports Festival finishes with a bang with their top three First years..." My eyes were glued to my phone screen, scrolling through different news articles until I saw my photo in one of them.

Darting across the words of the website, I sigh and lock my screen, closing my eyes for a little as I lean my head back against the train wall, the sound of the rain pelting the outside soothing me.

"Hey, you're Shiro Kurayami from U.A. right?" A voice asked, myself opening one eye to look at the speaker, who was some random student from an unknown school I hadn't heard of.

Not answering his question, I just continue to look at him as I notice more and more people around me start to look in my direction, murmuring whispers in the silence.

"Hey, he's right. It's that student who hid her Quirk. Why did U.A. accept her anyway?"

"Yeah, she's probably not answering 'cause she thinks she's some powerful person right now. Tch, what a brat..."

"She probably bribed her way in. Can't believe she wants to be a Hero. I sure don't want to be saved by her."

Hearing all the comments and gossip that linger around the air, I close my eyes once again and try to tune them out, pulling my earbuds out of my pocket and connecting them into my phone, blasting music at it's highest volume so I didn't have to hear them.

"Hey! How could you say that to someone you don't even know? It just shows how strong she is even without her Quirk!" A feminine voice caught my ears, seeing a girl maybe a couple years younger standing there, looking at the number of adults and teenagers around who were whispering.

"Yeah! It shows how she worked her butt off to get strong without a Quirk!" The boy next to her, wearing the same school uniform exclaimed as well, turning their heads to look at me with smiles of encouragement and sparkling eyes.

"You were so awesome, Kurayami-san! You're really showing the world how us Quirkless people can be strong too!" The girl said, the boy nodding as I pluck one of my earbuds out, eyes looking at them with mild shock.

"Yeah! How you kicked all of those students' asses without even using a Quirk! You're so cool! We just hope other people realise that too..." He trailed, glancing at the other passengers with a sideways glance briefly before turning back to me with the same bright smile.

"So don't listen to those jerks that assume who you are! Just know that we're here to support you! You'll be such a great Hero, Kurayami-san!" The girl gave a thumbs up towards me, grinning along with the boy, my mouth gaping with slight shock and amazement as I stared at them.
