She sat up, now face to face with the heterochromatic boy as she stared into his beautiful eyes.
"I have feelings for you, too."
Their lips locked, hearts both beating in a perfect sync together.

"Ouch." Sarcastically, I faked a wince as the grip on my waist tightened, causing me to look up at the worried eyes of Todoroki.
"Sorry." He quickly apologised, myself chuckling and shaking my head to say it's okay.
After a few diagnostics and check-ups from Recovery Girl, I was finally discharged from the school infirmary. Then having Todoroki help me back to my home by supporting half of my weight.
Unlocking the door to my house, the two of us enter and slip out of our shoes, stepping into the living room. Todoroki gently set me down on the couch, myself sitting up to give him some space as well.
Once the both of us got comfortable, Keii -who came from upstairs- jumped onto Todoroki's lap, purring and curling himself there. Todoroki blinked at Keii, before sifting a hand through his dark fur leisurely.
I smiled, seeing the content look on Todoroki's face. The way his eyes look down on Keii with such softness, how gentle his fingers would tread through fur, stroking and petting at my cat the way you would treat a millennia-old book and its pages.
How is it that such a person could exist? Or better yet, for me to have this chance to meet such a blessing?
With myself being in a daze, I had failed to realise my lingering stare on him and the sudden entwining of our hands. I was snapped out of it by the bundle of fur and purring that appeared on my lap, looking down to see Keii.
Only then did I finally see our locked fingers, causing me to look towards him, a smile present on his face. "With exams over, tomorrow's a day off for us. And I'll be visiting someone, would you perhaps like to accompany me?"
I hummed, tapping my locked fingers against the back of his palm in a rhythmic pace absentmindedly. To visit someone close to Todoroki, would they even like me?
"Sure, but are you okay with that? They don't know me, do they?" I asked, overthinking the possible outcomes was something I tend to do often, it was both a good and bad trait to have.
The sound of a quiet chuckle came from Todoroki, along with the soft shuffling from shifting weight on the couch then to a small but noticeable touch of contact by the side of my head. Another hand came to bring my head to the side, now facing mismatched eyes that bore into my own.
"You'll be fine. I'm positive they'll love you." Using his free hand, Todoroki brushed a strand of black hair back, lingering and cupping the side of my head. "I'll pick you up tomorrow."
Nodding, I gave him a returning smile. I could still feel our joined hands by me, the way his obviously larger hand held mine and seemed to cover it, the feel of soft yet still calloused skin on his palm.
"It's weird how we're so used to this, huh? Even before... that." I had no other words to explain our confessions a few hours ago, but I knew that he understood what I was talking about, seeing as he too looked down at our hands.
"I guess, but now it feels different than before, no?" He asked back, I nodded.
It was true, there was a slight change in what I had felt. Even in the smallest of things; from just sitting next to him, holding his hand or even gazing into his eyes. Everything we usually did for the past few months became so much more now than ever. Like the meaning within them gained more depth.
"So, what does this do? To us?" Closing my eyes, I leaned my forehead against his, ignoring the pounding feel in my chest and the sensation of suffocation that's coming over me.
"Well, if you wish. Then-"
"I imagined I'd come home to see my daughter alone, but I see her about to get her face sucked." A groan came from the door, the both of us turning to see my father standing there in his Hero Costume and a bag of groceries in hand.
Instantaneously, my face exploded in red and I jumped away from Todoroki, causing Keii -who I'm pretty sure was also watching us in anticipation- to leave my lap. Todoroki sat up straighter as well, a visible redness at the tips of his ears and cheeks.
"Oh- no! Do continue, I've been waiting for this to happen. Don't mind me." He smirked, myself blushing even more from his words as I tried to glare at him, which only made him smirk more.
"I-I'll take my leave." Todoroki abruptly got up from the couch, nodding at my father tensely before leaving through the door, shutting it as well.
"I knew he'd be the one." My father looked smug as he came to sit where Todoroki once was.
"Shut up."

"Why are we at a hospital, Shoto?"
"It's where the person we're visiting is, now come on." Without another word, Todoroki took my hand and walked us into the hospital, where he merely nodded to the nurse by reception and continued to the elevators.
After going up several floors, Todoroki continued to drag me down the halls, right until we reached the end where a door was. He looked over his shoulder to me, giving me a smile to which I returned reassuringly.
He slid the doors open, and I saw a woman with long pure white hair in hospital clothes, her back to us as she stared out at the window.
At the sound of the door, she turned around to reveal a soft yet aged face, warm grey eyes. Her facial features were very similar to-
My eyes widened, snapping my gaze to where Todoroki stood, his eyes solely on the woman before us.
"Who is this you've brought, Shoto?" She asked, a smile on her lips as she looked at me.
"This is Shiro Kurayami. Shiro, this is my mother."
