Faith POV

I woke up feeling much better and unfortunately Jacob was no where to be found so I called his phone "Jay where are you?" I asked "I was just picking up a few things, don't worry I'll call you when I am on my way home, get the children ready, and wear something nice" he said "Umm okay, I wish you would tell me what's going on, but alright see you when you get here" I said "Okay love you" he said hanging up. I went got the children up and ready to eat. After bringing them both downstairs and putting G-G in her high chair I got started on breakfast. "Ky how did you sleep?" I asked "I slept good mommie, the monsters didn't get me" he said I laughed "Yeah that's cause daddy gone beat them up if they try to mess with you" I said he laughed "Okay come on G-G" I said carrying her into the front room turning on "The Backyardigans" because that would buy me enough time to make me something to eat and clean up the kitchen "Ky make sure you put you shoes on, and bring me G-G's white and pink sandals" I said while washing the dishes. Suddenly I felt hands grip by ass and I jumped "Relax baby, it's just me" Jacob said "You scared me, go help Ky get G-G's shoes and put them on her for me so I can clean up the house" I said to him "Okay, somebody's in a better mood" he said "Yeah, and I thought you was gonna call and let me know when you were on your way back" I said "Yeah, well I kinda wanted to surprise you, by the way we're having a backyard party today, just you, me, the kids, my parents, my aunt, and uncle" he said "What is it for?" I asked confused "Well, it's just to spend time with the family, and share memories, you know just to have a good time, no games just family time" he said "Alright, sounds good" I said "Okay, now while you are getting dressed, what am I supposed to eat?" he asked "Here you go, I put this plate in the microwave for you because I knew you would be hungry" I said laughing "Hold up, wait a minute, did I hold you today?" he asked standing up "No you didn't" I said "Come here beautiful" he said I loved when he pulled out tiny romance "What's this all about?" I asked "Well I just feel like I haven't been doing my part that much and I just want to apologize for not paying attention to you guys" he said "Awww baby, it's okay at least you're providing for u-" he cut me off "No baby, it's not okay I feel like I haven't been here for you guys lately so just know that I'm here for you, and by the way you gone get this dick tonight" he said "WHOAAAAAAA" I said blushing "What, come on you gotta go get dressed" he said pretending that nothing happened. I headed upstairs to get dressed, Jacob is such a handful.

Jacob POV

Faith was looking good in those tiny ass gray shorts with that white tank top, just showing off the beautiful body the God blessed her with. "Da-Da" G-G said "Yes princess?" I asked picking her up she pointed to the freezer, I picked her up and put her on my neck and we headed to the freezer "Okay princess, what do you want?" I asked she pointed to the ice cream and said "Dis" I laughed "Well, mommie said you can't have it yet, but I'll tell you what, later on you can get some ice cream" I said smiling watching her pout. I really do miss being a family man so I need to make an exit and fast. "G-G I can't wait til you get older, we gone have a ball at donuts with dad, and especially with the father/daughter dances we gonna have a ball, oh and whenever you have a boyfriend I hope you tell me first" I said she was just smiling probably thinking what the hell is a boyfriend, I'll be damned if my baby girl ends up with a broken heart. "Jay Ky said he wants you to help him pick out a outfit for today, apparently he doesn't like the one I picked out for him." Faith said I laughed "Alright, come down here with G-G" I said. Once Faith came down the stairs she took G-G and I headed upstairs to help Ky get dressed. "Daddy I wanna wear the same colors you wear" he said "Do you even like red?" I asked laughing "No, I just wanna be like you today" he said "Really?" I asked him "Yeah, because maybe if I be you then mommie won't be lonely" he said looking through his dresser. It is true that you can learn a lot from a child, it kind of hurt my feelings when Ky told me that. "Fay you mind hurrying up, ain't no tellin when they gone start arriving" I said "Boy I'm almost done, don't rush me" she said "Don't get slick" I said. After what seemed to be hours, Faith finally came downstairs dressed and our family members started to arrive to the house.
