The Love Lost Within

Faith POV  *A month later*

Ever since the family vacation, Jacob has been spending more time with the entire family, along with managing the bills. He hates when I try to cook all the time so he waits for me to go to sleep just to get started on dinner, he even helps Hezekiah with his homework, and he teaches GG everything she needs to know for when she starts school. I have to say I'm in love with this side of him, I love seeing him so dedicated. Speaking of being dedicated I need to sneak and get some laundry done.

Jacob POV

Life is soooo amazing, I started being more productive in my family. I never want my wife and children to feel like I am not around so I have been doing so much to make my presence known. "Good Morning everyone" Faith said coming down the stairs with a laundry basket "Good morning mommy" GG said smiling "Heyy mommy" Hezekiah said running up to her and hugging her. I got up and walked over to her "Hey baby, how you sleep, and what are you doing with this??" I asked grabbing the laundry basket "I slept amazing, and i'm about to start doing laundry to help you not have so much to d-" I cut her off with a kiss. Once she loosened her grip from the basket I grabbed it "Give me this, it's your turn to rest baby" I said she laughed "Come on Jay you gotta let me do something, I'm so used to doing stuff around the house, I can't just sit here and do nothing" she said "No, you've done enough, let me do this stuff for a change, you wanted me around more and here I am" I said carrying the basket towards the basement. she laughed and walked into the front room. I went to the basement to get started on the laundry and then there was a knock on the door. "Mann I don't see how Fay gets through one day of working, cleaning the house, tending to the children, and then cooking" I thought to myself. This is sooo much to do, but I might as well get it done.

Faith POV

a few minutes after Jacob went to do the laundry, the children came to sit next to me and started asking me a whole lot of questions about their dad. "Mommie, when daddy birthday?" ky asked "Well, it's coming up in a few weeks, what should we do for daddy?" I asked them "Can we go skating?" Ky asked "Well, I don't remember the last time daddy went skating, and we have to do something that we all can do, maybe somebody should ask daddy what kind of things he likes to do" I said smiling because I already knew the answer. "I go ask him" GG said getting off the couch and walking towards the basement. Speaking of what he likes, I need to call up a few people and get some preparations ready for his birthday. "Ky, what kind of cake should we get for daddy?" I asked "We can get him a car cake, with a whole bunch of cars around it and a big car on top" he said getting hyper "Calm down son, we don't want him to hear us" I said laughing. I love spending time with my babies, they always put a smile on my face. Suddenly I got that familiar feeling. I rushed to the bathroom and emptied everything that entered my stomach. How am I gonna tell Jacob that i'm pregnant, I don't want to make his birthday about me. Maybe I should wait til after his party. "Are you okay mommie?" Ky said walking up to me looking scared "Yes honey i'm okay, just don't tell daddy you seen me like this" I said "Why not?" he asked confused "Well, looks like you have a younger baby brother or sister coming" I said smiling "Yayyy, so you and daddy did the magic trick for me to be a bigger brother" he asked smiling, I laughed so hard "Yes, I guess if that's how he put it for you then that's what happened" I said shaking my head. Mannn I can't believe Jacob really told him that, he is crazy. I'm so glad to have a man like Jacob. I need to call Tyler up and see if she can help me plan a baby shower and gender reveal.

Jacob POV

I was downstairs putting the clothes into the washing machine and then my baby girl came down the stairs "Hey lil mama, you coming to keep dada company?" I asked smiling "Dada what you like to do?" she asked walking over to me in her pink outfit "Well GG dada likes a lot of things, I love spending time with my family, and I like cars, did mommie send you to ask me this?" I asked "Yes, her said you birthday coming up and ky ky and me don't know what to do for you for you birthday" she said not knowing she spilled the beans on what their conversation was about.  "Well GG, come here baby girl" I said picking her up "Yess" she said smiling "Tell mommy and Ky that as long as I get to spend time with family and friends then I will be satisfied no matter what we do or where we go" I said "Okay dada I tell her" she said walking back up the stairs holding the railing. My precious baby girl, she has no idea yet but she is definitely gonna be my partner in crime. I walked into my mancave and started playing the game and listening to music thinking about how much I really want another baby in this house, children grow up so fast and I just want one or two more to come along. Whatever Faith plans I'm sure I'm going to absolutely love it, she knows what I like but she's probably overthinking what I would like more than the other thought. I started to drift off to sleep then I realized that I had to put the clothes into the dryer. 

Faith POV

GG came running back upstairs to tell me and Ky what her father said about his party "Well GG what did daddy say?" I asked "Him said as long as he by family he gone be okay" she said "I'm pretty sure that there was more said than that but since she's so young it was a lot to remember "Okay, let's call up your godparents, and grandparents so we can plan something for daddy" I said. My goodness we have a huge celebration ahead of us and I just hope that everything goes as planned, and hopefully he gets the gender he's been bugging me about.

Jacob POV

I can't believe that my birthday is coming up, I usually don't like to celebrate my birthday. I mean Yeah I be grateful to see another birthday, but all my family isn't here to celebrate it with me. I just hope that this year helps me have another reason for me to be in the mood to celebrate.
