TRIGGER WARNING!!
Corey is still in surgery we all decided to stay home until we got the call that he is out. Mainly because we didn't want to sit and be worried the whole time although we would be doing that anyway at least while we are home we have something to distract us.we all rented a movie although none of us were really watching it.
We all were just in our own thoughts aarons phone went off we paused the movie and he answered it
"What is he OK?!"
"OK ya we will be over "
"What's going on?"
"Devyn said to get to the hospital now she's sounded very upset"
"OK then let's go" we all go into aarons car. No one spoke the whole way there devyn ran and hugged colby when we got there and started crying
"Devyn calm down what happened"
"H....hes gone" we all looked at each other in shock.
I could feel the water in my eyes. I just lost my best friend.
Colby is really good at comforting people so he stayed with devyn to calm her down Elton was unfortunately on a trip with tfil we called him and told him the news.
Ever since that day. everything changed
Everyone became distance and stayed in there rooms most of the time. we don't hang out as a group anymore and devyn went back home to live with her parents for a while.
My depression is getting bad again. colby was the only one who really went out and it was of course always with Brennen.
He likes brennen not you why would he like you.
I sighed as my thoughts got to me.
I raded my drawers for something sharp. i finally found a box cutter.
I pulled up my sleeves.
My scars from last time has faded over and now were just faint lines I haven't done anything since the last time.
I took a deep shakey breath and began slicing.
Each one deeper than the last
One for being so depressing it made me lose my friends
One for being worthless
One for being annoying
One for shutting myself out.
One for liking guys.
I've made about 15 cuts on each arm when my world began to get dizzy.
"I DONT CARE ANYMORE LET ME DIE"
I screamed not caring who heard.
Bringing me back to the cheating prank when i screamed that in my car my life flashed before my eyes.
From the moment I met Colby at band camp
From all the late night talks about life
To us getting kicked out of every mall we went to
To when our first vine went viral.
To meeting other viners
Finally to leaving Kansas and having our first apartment
To our kiss
Suddenly the door burst through with Elton and aaron standing there.
My eye lids grew heavy I felt my heart beat getting slow.
"Sam come on stay with me...aaron call the police!!"
Everything was in slow motion it was almost like I was in a movie.
My arm stung as Elton tried to put pressure on the blood pouring out.
"Elton let me die"
Was all I said before my world got dark.
Colby's p.o.v.
I was with Brennen we were talking about our brolby merch.
Everyone was mad at me because I seemed to have forgot about corey.
I didn't trust me.
I just handle it differently than most people and that's going out to get my mind off it.
I knew I couldn't just sit and mourn over him forever.
I also knew I couldn't sit at my wall and get sad about it corey would want us to be happy and still live our life to the fullest so that's what i am doing.
Sam and i kind of parted ways.
He shut me out of his life and maybe I should have fought for it but I figured he just needed his time with it alone.
I guess i was wrong.
I got a call from Elton in the middle of our meeting and of course I ignored it because this meeting was important so I shut off my phone.
After the meeting Brennen and i got in the car and went to get food. I turned on my phone and noticed i had several of missed calls from Aaron and Elton.
My first thought was sam.
I called Elton back in a panick
"What happened"
"Sam tried to kill himself get to the hospital now!"
My heart sunk.
"You OK colbs...."
"Go to the hospital" was all i said and he sped off to the hospital. I got there and Aaron was freaking out Elton trying to calm him down.
"Hey hey what's going on!" I ran up to them Brennen shortly following.
This is the same hospital corey died in. it was bringing back memories.
"He tried to bleed to death"
Was all Elton said I knew exactly what was going on
"Colby Brock?" A lady called I ran over to her
"That's me"
"Sam Golbach had a request to see you "
I nod and follow her back we get to his room and he was sitting up he was very pale but he was alive I ran over and hugged him crying
"I'm so sorry" was all i said
