"Hey, Josh." Tyler nudged the sleeping man. "It's time to wake up."

Josh mumbled incoherently. Tyler furrowing his brow at the action as Josh slowly moved onto his back, his colored arm draping over his eyes and his curly brown locks messed even more at his movements.

"Sorry what was that?"

"Fuck off." Josh said before gently placing his hand on Tyler's chest in a weak attempt to push him off.

The brunette chuckled to himself. "You have to get up this time. It's training day and you need food."

Josh slowly blinked open his grey eyes. "Training day?"

"You'll see." Tyler prompted while reaching over to grasp Josh's wrist and heave him out of bed.

•••

It's been nearly two days since Josh's sudden arrival and Tyler would to admit that he was begining to grow fond of the shorter man. He guided Josh to the lunchline, which was odd for the newby since he'd only been fed inside of the cell. People glanced not-so-secretly, and his body tensed uncomfortably which turned into a mean grin on his face.

"I don't like the eyes." He whispers to Tyler while leaning down to snag a tray, glaring daggers at a girl who seemed to hold an equivalent amount of sass. Tyler turned his neck looking over at the girl and the group who sat with her.

"Billie won't mess with you, she's all looks. Trust me." He assured, his eyes flashing red as a universal warning and the group immediately turned around.

"Anyways, I have some people you need to meet."

"I don't like people." Josh deadpanned as a pile of god knows what was stacked on his tray. He mumbled a confused "thank you?" To the supplier before walking off with Tyler.

The brunette scoffed. "You don't like anything."

Josh shrugged, narrowing eyes as he favored his words. "Hm, not everything. But overall, true."
Glancing around the large industrial room, Josh memorized nearly every inch before he was gently nudged by Tyler
To the direction of his table.

"I should warn you, their loud and noisy, but you'll grow to like 'em." The brunette says.

Tyler placed his tray down, the table getting relatively quiet at the sight of the new person. Eyes wide in astonishment and Jenna shamelessly checking him out head-to-toe. Tom nudges Evan who's mouth gaped subconsciously which caused a grimace to form on Tyler's face.
"Take a picture why don't you." Josh mumbled, plopping down beside Tyler.

"This is Josh." Tyler introduced to the apparently starstruck group, poking his food with his unstable plastic fork.

Tom was the first to break the tenstion. "Oh my god you're real?"

"I- what?" Josh furrowed his eyebrows confused. "Of course I am."

Evan glared over at Tom before scratching his stubble, finding a way to rephrase his friends words. "It's just that, we didn't know if we where actually getting a new person." He shrugged casually. "I'm Evan." He gestured his thumb to the spot beside him. "This idiot is Tom, he talks alot, and this beautiful blonde is Jenna."

Josh nodded at the names, deciding to actually acknowledge the new people rather than ignoring them like he'd planned.

"And that's Brendon. He's invisible." Evan pointed to the right of Tyler, taken by an empty blue jumpsuit.

"I can fuckin' talk for myself."
The man sassed. He extended his hand, but of course only the sleeve of the jumpsuit  could be seen streching over Tyler.

Josh hesitated, reaching his hand out and grabbing what was supposedly his hand and giving it a firm shake.

"What are you?" Tom blurted out, seeing as he couldn't last nearly a minute when he has something on his mind. Tyler quirked an eyebrow at the other brunette who gulped.

"Excuse me?" Josh replied almost offended.

"I mean-" Tom shook his head, his hand shaking as if a sign to dismiss his words. "Evan manipulates shadows and stuff, Jenna is a healer, Brendon can phase through walls and I still don't know what the fuck Tyler does."

He leaned across the table in Josh's direction, whispering not-so-secretly "but it's scary as shit."

He sat back down in his seat. "So what do you do?"

Josh must've looked like a deer in headlights because Tyler nudged him gently under the table, clearly trying to suppress a grin. "You good?"

"Uh, yeah." He replied. "Just kind of overwhelmed."

"You? Overwhelmed?" Tyler snorted while bringing a french fry to his mouth. "I never thought I'd see the day."

"Shut up." Josh scrunched his nose. He faced Tom again. "I'm an adapter, and environmentalist."

Tom tilted his head with confusion. "What does that mean?"

Tyler looked over at Josh expecting an answer as he was curious too. He's only seen the curly haired man in flames, so he wondered where the adapter aespect came to view.

"I guess we'll see soon." Brendon mumbled as he saw guards approach the main entrance, electric rods in hand. The monotonous bell rang and soon everyone that was once sitting calmly filed into a line almost robotically to pass through the door between the guards.

"What's going on?" Josh mumbled rather bored with the whole situation.

"Training," Tyler replies quickly.

"We're going to have to fight each other."
