He never thought he'd see the day.
As his boots, caked with mud and leaves trudged through the forest, he nearly cried. Not from the subtle pain from the bullet wound he caught, which caused a minor limp but he could stand on his own, but from the fact that he was free. He glanced down at the little dark skinned girl, with curly hair beam up at him. They all were.

Despite not knowing where they were, or where they where headed, they stayed on the path that Brendon and Dylan paced. Tyler didn't know where the guy had appeared from, but he was glad they found him.

Suddenly, a loud explosion caused everyone to crouch down, their hands covering their heads. Tyler sheilded the small girl that seemed to share a fondness with him for some reason.
The ground tremored for what felt like forever, everyone either crouched or laying on the mossy ground with their hands behing their heads. Once the trembling stopped, Tyler looked down at the girl with wide red eyes.

"Are you okay?" His voice came out still shaky from the aftershock. The girl nodded, clutching onto Tyler's pantleg.

"Is everyone alright!" Tyler called out, his eyes scanning over the souls his red-filtered eyes allowed him to. Nobody was in pain, then he noticed finally what they where staring up at. His eyes slowly trailed up to see the nine towers caving in, large debris crashing onto the ground after he noticed a yellow wave of energy.
Josh.

He heard a soft sob beside him, turning with furrowed eyes he noticed Jenna clutching her stomach, her eyes teary as Evan put his arm around her, his face dropping as he mourned.

Then Tyler remembered. Josh was in there. "Oh my god-"

"We have to keep going." He heard Dylan say, his face filled with sorrow. "No matter what."

"My dad's in there." Jenna sobbed, Evan rubbing her back soothingly.

Tom's eyes flashed, he stumbled back as the vision came just as forcefully as it left. "Josh's alive." He informed quickly. Eyes looking over at Tyler, then shaking his head solemnly at Jenna, who cried harder. "But he's right, we have to keep going."

"Where?" A man out in the crowd asked.

As the man and Dylan debated on where to take direction, Tyler's eyebrows furrowed, feeling uneasiness as he glanced over at where Brendon stood, only to see him not there.

"Brendon?" Tyler narrowed his eyes, trying to hear an answer, only to get nothing. "Brendon!" He called out getting the attention from a few people.

"Right here!" Tyler heard him call out, only for it to sound echoed.

Tyler then turned to Dylan. "Keep going, set the pace and don't stop. We'll tell you what's going on when we figure it out."

Nodding at the information, he grasped the torch that Brendon once held, tighter. Guiding the group of people down the approaching slope of the hill.
