Earlier That Day

Trevor and I went to the carnival down at this huge loading dock. They had a ferris wheel, food stands, game booths, and alot of other cliché things, but it looked like a lot of fun.

Trevor thought we should head over to the games, so he could, "win me some prizes". I started laughing, and told him if he beat me at skee-ball, I would do anything he asked me too. I was flirting mindlessly, but I really liked him. He was different from Mitchell. Mitchell was quiet, sweet, and I had to make the first move. With Trevor, it was like night and day. Trevor surprised me. He was flirtatious, well educated in street smart and book smart skills, confident, and liked to tease me. We only just met that day, but I felt like I knew him my whole life. When I was with Mitchell, I felt comfortable, like I could tell him anything, but with Trevor, he kept me on my toes and never failed to surprise me.

We played a few games, before Trevor finally got a big grin on his face as we arrived at the Skee-ball. He quickly slipped his arm around my waist, as he gave the guy running the stand our tickets to play. Trevor brought his other hand to the other Side of my hip, obviously trying to distract me.

I leaned in, towards his ear and seductively whispered in his ear,

"You can try and distract me all you want, it won't work."

I smirked at him and wiggled out of his grasp to score the highest score possible. Trevor stood there baffled, and began to laugh. I looked at him, and cracked up.

"There is absolutely no way I can beat or even tie that. You win. I guess I don't get that kiss I wanted then.", Trevor chuckled, shaking his head. I guess that's what he wanted when he won.

After we finished playing games, got something to eat, and went on the bumper cars and roller coaster, I saw the thing I had been looking for the whole time. Even though it was incredibly cliché, I wanted to find a photo booth. I lobed photo booths, and no matter who I was with when I saw one, I would stop and take pictures. After suggesting my idea, Trevor easily agreed, easier then most guys would. I looked at him curiously, and he began to grin from ear to ear, showing of his dimples, and amazingly straight, white teeth. I lost my train of thought for a second, until Trevor reminded me of my mission by slipping his arm around my waist, and taking my other hand. It was really sweet, and felt nice.

As soon as we got in the photobooth and picked our settings, it started to count down. We smiled, made faces, and had alot of fun. After about two strips, he finally kissed me. It might have been just on the check, but I turned my head and raised my eyebrows, challenging him. After this, he quickly closed the gap between us, and kissed me sweetly, but still passionately. It surprised me how he kissed, but I liked it. A lot, and Trevor sure was a good kisser. It felt like magic, and I finally remembered where we were when a voice told us that our photo strips were all used.

I laughed, and lead the way out to get our photo strips. After debating over who would get which, we went to the Ferris wheel, which I was nervous about. I wasn't a huge fan of them, but I guess they're supposed to be "desperately romantic", seeing how bad Trevor wanted to get me up there.

When our cart finally reached the top, he decided the way to stop me from shaking was to kiss me. It worked, I was completely distracted. It wasn't until he started to kiss my neck, that I noticed we were moving again.

At about 8:30, I told Trevor I had to head back, and he insisted on walking me. We stopped at Starbucks, because I needed a hit of coffee. Trevor and I finally got back to where the buses were about 8:45, and spent a good ten minutes making out. Until he pulled away, and programed his number in my phone as I did the same to his. I gave him a hug, just as Mitchell saw me.

After the fight.

Oh crap, I was in trouble. Why? I wasn't Mitchell's girlfriend, he had no claim on me. Yet, I could tell how badly I hurt him. The things he got me where really sweet, and I felt bad about lying to him. Twice.

I lied when I told him nothing happened, and that I didn't want it too. I lied to his face and was feeling pretty bad about it. Tonight at the hotel I was sharing a room with Kay, and she could tell I was not in a good mood.

"What's wrong?", she cautiously asked me.

I started in on a rant.

"Mitchell is making me really mad! I met this other guy today who I really like too, and Mitchell's acting like I'm his girlfriend or something, getting all pissed and buying me expensive stuff!"

Kay looked at me, thought for a second, and then started talking,

"If he can't take a little competition, then he doesn't deserve you. See which one really wants to be with you. I have an idea. A few of us are going to a 17 and under club tonight, after curfew. Don't worry, we've done it the last few years, and the counselors are cool with it. Invite Trevor, and I'll make sure Chase invites Mitchell. If he can't handle a little competition, then he should be disqualified. Hurry! Go text Trevor and tell him to meet us at The Night Scene at 11 o'clock.

When we finally arrived at the club, I saw Trevor waiting for me at the entrance. Kay brought so guy along with her too, I haven't talked that much to him though. Trevor was wearing an evergreen scoop neck fitted tee, with a black vest over it, black low-top converse, and tight fitting black jeans. Just to say, he looked amazing. I was wearing a pair of black denim short shorts, a loose, dark sleeveless purple V-neck, with a light denim vest over it.

All the other girls in the club stared as we headed out to the dance floor. A few songs came on that had really good beats, and Trevor and I danced close, as everyone around us, jumped. The humidity of the dance floor was extreme, and when Trevor pulled me off of it, I didn't stop him. He turned around, and had me pinned against a wall both arms on the side of my head. He leaned in to kiss me, and I met him halfway. We had been making out for about five minutes now, when I heard a voice call out my name.

It was Mitchell.

"Nicolette? What are you doing?", he asked sounding angry and confused.

I looked him straight in the eye and said, "If you can't take a little competition, then you don't deserve me." Leaving him stunned, I pulled Trevor back out to the dance floor.
