My eyes slowly opened, revealing a bright light. The more I tried to focus my vision, the more I could make out my surroundings. As I looked around I noticed that I was in a hospital room. Wires were connected to me. What happened? The last thing I could remember was going on the field trip to the waterpark. As I continued looking around I saw someone in the corner of the room. I took a closer look and I couldn't believe my eyes.

"M-Mom?" The familiar shape of my mother turned towards me. "Is that really you?!," I asked, still stunned at the fact that she was standing there before my eyes. She gave a little reassuring smile. She slowly started walking towards the bedside. "Why are you here?"

"To tell you to keep on fighting. Don't lose track of who you are. Don't just give up. Hold on for just a little longer. It's not your time.," she said, hovering over me like an angel would. "I miss you mom. So much...so so much.," I said, my eyes getting blurry, "Why'd you have to leave us?" She sat down on the bed right next to me. "I know, sweetheart, I know. I'm so sorry for leaving our family. For leaving you. But stay strong. If not for me then for your dad, your brother, and your friends. I know how they would hurt to see you go. To just give up like I did. I promise I'm always watching over you. I love you." I nodded without saying anything. She then extended her hand towards my face and closed my eyes.

I immediately opened my eyes to find my dad, little brother, and friends in the room. "Mom?" My dad looked up shocked but relieved that I woke up. "No Y/N, it's just me." I looked at him. "Dad... what happened? How long have I been here for?" "Well, you been in a coma for 3 days because you almost drowned." I laid there, shocked. Three days. I was in a coma for three days. Which didn't seem like a lot but for almost drowning to the point where I went into a coma, it was a lot for me. "And it was all Hyunjin's fault!," blurted out Jaehyun from the other side of the room. "Hyunjin? What do you mean Hyunjin?," I asked, confused. "Don't you remember? He was the one who pushed you in the first place."

Now it's all starting to come back to me. I remember that Jaehyun had called me over to the poolside to ask me something after I had kind of gotten into a heated conversation with Hyunjin. As I approached Jaehyun, I remember being pushed into the pool. Which of course ended badly because I can't swim.

"But if it weren't for him, I'm afraid I would have lost you.," my dad chimed in. What does he mean by that? "He saved you, Y/N. After realizing what he had done, he jumped right in to retrieve you. A moment too soon and you would've been gone for good.," He said, as if reading my mind. Did Hyunjin really jump in after me? Did he really save my life? At the moment, there was a knock on the door.

"Hello. May I come in?" It was Hyunjin.
