CHAPTER THREE: PAIN OF MISERY

Her first day for the higher grade classes. She came home and checked face book timeline as usual. That's when she noticed a status which has mentioned as 'RAYMOND IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH ASHLY'. She never expected this from him. Not even in her dreams. Tears started rolling down continuously, her phone dropped down on the bed without her knowledge. She was totally freeze, speechless & heartbroken. Saffiya's boyfriend isn't hers anymore!!!!! Just imagine how terrible would she have been felt. She ran upstairs as soon as possible grabbed her Mrs Hailey's mobile and tried contacting Raymond but he rejected all of her calls. Finally he answered and responded in a harsh manner. She was broken into pieces. First time in her life she is experiencing a heart break but this was the worse. She was weeping all night thinking the best memories of her life. The memories she had when she first visited Raymond's place after they fell in love, the way Raymond threw stuff on her just to make her look at him, the way he tried talking to her, the way he made her smile etc. All the memories were killing her like hell. She could eat, sleep, and talk neither concentrate on her studies at all.

She tried bunking her classes so that she will be able to visit his place and beg him not to leave. She was so in love with him that she couldn't bare seeing him away from her. But none of her friends allowed her to bunk. Thank god!!! Guys just imagine what kind of issues and humiliation she would have faced if she had gone?? Raymond was such a beast who would do anything for his happiness and to see others weep. Although the fault was his, he wasn't ready to tell others neither accept it. He started blaming Saffiya for no reason. He started saying everyone it was her fault. Poor Saffiya had no choice but crying. The worst part was he even made her cousins and her own sister believe his words. She was blamed as a 'SLUT, BITCH, CHEATER' for no reason. No one was ready to believe her words even her siblings, friends & her sister. The only people who believed her was Mr & Mrs Hailey (her parents). The hardest part was she was not even able to leave her home because the whole neighbourhood started talking shit about her. Even she couldn't go school in a peaceful mind because her best friend has spread the same rumours in the whole school as well. When the whole neighbourhood threw stones at her only her parents stood by her side & tried proving that she is not such a cheap character also she is not the reason behind the breakup and the rumours are just a piece of drama which has been created by her enemies. She tried convincing Raymond's family members saying them not to let him leave. But none took an effort in stopping him. Days past but still she couldn't get over and move on with this breakup. She still cried day and night continuously. Mr & Mrs Hailey were worried seeing their daughter being apart from them also suffering through depression. They started taking her for counselling hoping it would help her. Yeah it did. But not much. She started talking with everyone but still she had the same amount of sorrow in her. She just hide it in the sake of her family.

4 months passed and Raymond came back crying and begging her to accept him. Silly Saffiya believed his drama and gave him another chance to enter into her life once again after all what happened. She thought that he had changed and realised all his mistakes but guess what all what she thought was wrong. He just FREAKING ACTED!!! All the sad conversations, tears were just a piece of DRAMA so that he can fool her again. As usual they only continued this relationship for three days and back to the beginning. He started ignoring her & started flirting with his ex-girlfriends. At this time he started taking Saffiya as an advantage. Not for sex but for money. Daily he use to force her to buy him recharge cards and asks money for his personal use. There were instances where Saffiya use to stay in hunger at school just to fulfil his needs. Finally he left her again for no reason. She cried & hurt herself as usual. Day by day she started getting fed up of his nonsense and his rude attitude. She tried making herself strong by talking to herself and being socialized by making new friends etc.
