"You did so good Sean" I said hug him tightly. Delilah and Hennessy did the same, after our hug section. I got my flip phone out, and took a couple of pictures of them, making sure I show my mother who wasn't able to attend

"I'm going to present my science project to mom, so she don't feel left out and can be happy" He said smiling

"I'm sure she will be" Delilah said with smile, moments like this warm my heart.

"Okay, let's go home cause I made your favorite" I told him and he got excited, when we made it home. I fixed their plates with chicken alfredo and butter toasted bread.

Once we were done, Delilah took my mom's plate to feed her and Sean followed so he can show her his project.

Hennessy washes the dishes while I put them away .

"Thanks for the clothes" She said breaking the silence

"No need to thank me" I said giving her a smile, and she nodded.

Afterwards we were done, they changed there clothes and did their homework.

"Mom sleeping?" I asked Delilah and she nodded

"When y'all done we can go to the park for a little bit" I told them and they got excited "So finish your homework fast"

I walked upstairs seeing my mom peacefully sleeping

"Mom I'm taking the kids to the park, you need anything ?" I asked, waking her up and she open one eye and she looked at me with a smile and shake her no and went back to her nap

"No, I'm f-fine" I nodded and got her some water knowing she get thirsty, once I did and walked back down the kids were done with their homework.

We walked to the park the was down the street from where we lived, basically the park the drug leaders would actually sell at.

When we got to the park, they ran freely to the playground and got on slides but Delilah got on the swing.

"Kat, Look" Sean called me and I looked up as he got on the monkey bar, hanging off

"Watch out Sean" I said, not wanting nothing bad to happen to him . Plus we couldn't afford another medical bill, not trying to sound rude.

He got off the monkey bar and started playing tag with some kids

"Sup Katherine" Some guy said to me and I gave him a mean mug "Don't look at me like that" He said blowing kisses to me and I turned my back, ignoring him

The sun started to settle down, and I had to go make money.

"Delilah, Hennessy and Sean Let's go" I called out at them, and they came running towards me.

"Can you carry me, i'm tired" Sean said pretending like he was tired

"No, you too tall" he nodded

"Today was a fun day" Sean said

"I'm glad you had a fun day" kissing his cheeks

When we got home, they took turns getting in the shower. I made a soup for my mom, since from time to time it's hard for her to swallow. Once the microwave beep, I took out the soup and putting a ice cube in it. I walked up the stairs, putting the soup of her nightstand, As I helped her get comfortable, I placed the soup on her pillow.

"Can I do it" I looked up and saw Delilah standing by the door with her pjs.

"Sure" I said, she sat in front of my mom and feed her the soup. I walked out and saw Sean brushing his teeth in the bathroom, I smiled.

Once the clock hit 8 pm, making sure Sean was sleep on my mom's bed and tucking him in with the blanket. I walked out took my clothes for the day, and changed in the bathroom. I turned the lights off upstairs, making my way downstairs and cleaning the kitchen so no rats would come and eat our food.

I put my heels on, walking outside and locking the door with my keys. I walked my way where most prostitute would be at waiting for someone to pick them

"Hey blondie" My friend Linda greeted me, everyone called me that, basically my prostitute name .

"Wassup, Linda" I said laying on the wall next to her

"The cute guy came looking for you" She said smoking her cigarette, I looked at her confused

"Who?"

"The one with the Mercedes" I nodded knowing who she was talking about

"Damn, and he payed good too" She nodded

"He sure does, but I told him you wasn't here today and he took Millie"

"She always trying to take someone customers" Linda chuckle

"For a fact, I'll see you later my guy just came" She said burning her cigarette out and getting in the car, and the guy pull off.

Tonight was a slow day not only for me but the majority of the girls.

I started to walk home since it was 2 in the morning, I tried convincing guys but they weren't having it today.

On my way to my house, I saw a couple of guys smoking in front of the park.

"Damn, what you doing walking by yourself?" one of them said, not being able to see him since he was next to a tree. I walked a little faster till I was grabbed back and I tried to push him off

"Man, let ha go" I heard someone with an accent, the guy pull me away from the guy the was holding me, and when I see it was the guy that was trying to talk to me.

"You lucky" The guy said throwing kisses and walking away, I rubbed my wrist

"Ya shouldn't be walking by yaself" the guy who helped me said but I ignore him and got home
