A Month later

On christmas day, nobody was in the mood to open the presents. The day before  they buried their mother, and it hasn't been easy for them. They met some family members they've never seen, once they got the news that's their mother pass everyone showed up with a fake mask on their faces, saying how much they miss & love her. When in reality, they abandoned their mother.

Life it's cruel, and one day they can be your family but the next day they aren't.

Sean has been out with his new 'friends', making business and smoking. Trying to get the thought of his mom passing out of his head. While Delilah, had a complete turn in her life and got kicked out of volleyball team after being suspended for fighting a girl on her team. Hennessy has just been very quite and in her world. And for Katherine she officially wasn't prostitute anymore, she's just been trying to find a job and do what she always do.

Since Katherine and Anthony has been together everyday now, the more people have to say about her being a prostitute. Anthony didn't believe it since he never seen her on the block where they all be at.

"Katherine King" The lady at the office called her, Katherine got up and gather her things.

"Just wanted to tell you that you're hired, you can start tomorrow at 7 in the morning?" The owner of the small cafe asked

"Yeah I can" She smiled

"Here's your uniform" She said passing the uniform to her "And please be on time"

"I will" she smiled and nodded, Katherine grab her uniform and left out the small cafe located downtown.

Katherine walked around the downtown area, before walking home.

"You never make anything!" Once she got home, she heard Hennessy yelled at Delilah who was in the kitchen

"Hey! Hey!" Katherine said looking at them "what's going on?!" putting her stuff down on the couch looking at them

"Delilah arguing with me about that she does everything in the house like girl bye!" Hennessy said looking at her up and down "all she do is bitch around and act like we her maid"

"Hennessy you're testing my patiences right now" Delilah said putting the peanut butter away

"Mhmm, whatever lazy bum" Hennessy said while she walk up stairs

"Hennessy watch your mouth" Katherine spoke up and looked at Delilah

"You not going to tell correct her??" Delilah said putting her sandwich down and looked at me

"Honestly Delilah, she's right" She told her as she looked at me weird "I understand mom passed away but before she did you've acting like that and at this point this is my house and you either help out or do what you please" Katherine told her getting up and going to my room

"Ridiculous" Delilah said leaving out the house, she started to walk her way to her best friend house.

She noticed her friend brother outside with some other guys.

"Hey, is Becky home?" I asked putting my hand in my coat

"Yeah she's inside" her brother said giving me a glance

I nodded, walking in and greeted Becky mom and then she told she was up in her room

"Talk to you later" Becky hung up her call and ran towards me giving me a hug "I haven't seen you, Im sorry for you lost"

"Thanks, what you been up to?" We sat down on her bed as she went back on her spot painting her toes

"Chilling, I have a date tonight with Caleb" she said smiling blowing her toes with a folded

"Whaaat? Since when y'all talk?" I asked, I painted the rest of her toes as she told me how it all happened and I helped out fix her hair and find a outfit to wear.

"What would I do without you!" Becky told her, giving Delilah a tight hug. "He should be here in five minutes, we should do something tomorrow"

"Sure, just let me know" Delilah said smiling fixing her eyeliner

"Your date is here" Becky's brother Brad said

"Okay, I'll be down in a minute" she said mumble as Delilah fixed her eyeliner

"All done" Delilah said smiling at her best friend "Have fun"

They walk downstairs to the front door, where her date Caleb was waiting.

"Bye guys" Becky said walking with Caleb to his car

Delilah put her coat on, and fix her hair.

"Hey, What's your name?" Brad asked looking at Delilah

"Delilah" she simply said and he nod

"Want to chill, I promise nothing will happen" he asked sitting on the couch

"Um, well I'm 16 an.." He cut her off

"Girl, I'm not trying to do anything like that" he laugh "if you don't want to, it's okay"

"Okay, sure" she took off her coat and sat next to him as he sparkle his blunt
