"Daddy miss you" I said hugging my baby girl, I just pick her up from her grandparents house.
"I miss you too" She giggle, I grabbed her bag and hand heading to my car, I strapped her and drove to my mom's house.
"Do you like it where you live now?" I asked stopping at a red light
"No, cause I don't like being far from you daddy" She said playing with her teddy bear that I gave her last christmas
"Me either" I told her, when we made it home she got out the car excitedly knocking on the front door anxiously. I chuckled while I got her things out, and my mom opened the door
"Nana" She said hugging my mom tightly and my mom hugged her back "I miss you"
"I miss you more, go say hi to Hector" She nodded running off and hugging him , I walked in my room placing her things in there. I walked back out and saw Cattleya helping my mom cook.
"Your friend not coming?" My mom asked looking at me , and I shakes my head no
"No, where's everyone at?" I asked her
"They're on their way Anthony" I nodded
"You need me to do anything?" I asked getting up
"No, actually can you run to the store and get me pumpkin pie cause i'm not going to have time to make it" I nodded kissing Cattleya on the forehead and left. After getting an pumpkin pie, I grabbed another one so I can give it to Katherine.
I stopped in front of her house, getting out the and grabbing the pumpkin pie.
I knocked twice before Delilah opened the door, I walked in.
"Where's Katherine?" I asked her and she went to the kitchen finishing her cereal, I looked around seeing that they were making anything
"She's upstairs changing" I nodded, putting the pie on the table
"Y'all not doing anything?" I asked her and she shake her head
"No, we just woke up and about to watch movie and eat leftovers" She said getting up and wash her dish, I sat on a chair going through my phone
"You be popping up unannounced a lot" Katherine chuckled walking in, hugging me from my back
"I know" I chuckled "Thought you were going to be cooking"
"No, we decided to watch movies and eat leftovers" I nodded
"I brought y'all pumpkin pie" She smiled
"Thank you"
"How's your day going?"
"It's going alright, Sean woke up with a fever"
"You need anything from the pharmacy?" She shakes her head
"No, we got medicine in here" We looked at each other for a minute, I zone out admiring her features.
"Anthony" Katherine said snapping her fingers at me
"My bad ma, what you said?" she giggle
"I said did you pick up your daughter?"
"Yeah I did, she's so big and beautiful just like her father" I said and she laugh "Hopefully you can get to meet her before she leaves"
"You want me to meet her?" she asked, I know it was a big step
"Or you can meet her on christmas" She nodded
"Christmas sounds better" I nodded and my phone rang, looking down seeing it's my mom
"I have to get going, I'll probably see you later" I said getting up and so did she, we shared a hug and then I left.

"Sup George" I said walking to the backyard seeing my cousins smoking a blunt.
"You forever going to be skinny" Trey said laughing
"Leave my skinny ass alone" I told him laughing, as he pass the blunt to me, I took a couple puff until Cattleya came running to me
"Daddy, Nana calling you" I nodded getting passing it to my other cousin
"Sup mom" I said walking to the kitchen
"We about to eat, get your headed ass cousins" I nodded and picked up Cattleya
"Yo, we about to eat" They nodded, finishing up the blunt before walking back in
After eating, we all sat around on the table while Cattleya lay on my arms asleep.
"I'm very thankful for every man" George said laying back on the chair
"And there's nothing I wouldn't be thankful for" Dean included in
