"Katherine, wake up!" Hennessy said moving me, I woke up seeing it's passed 11 in the morning

"What happen" I said moving my hair out of my face getting up

"You said today we were going to have a family day" She said with a smile, I chuckled nodding

"Let me get ready" she nodded, and walked away.

I walked in the bathroom doing my hygiene, once I was done I put on a sundress and flip flops. I walked in my mom's room seeing that Delilah was feeding her some food, I walked downstairs and Sean was eating cereal playing with his pencil doing beats. Making my way to the kitchen I grabbed some leftover food, reheat it and then ate it on the kitchen counter.

"Sean go get ready" I told him once I saw he finished his food, we were going to the beach today just to have family time together. Since it would take us 1 hours or so to get there on bus, it was best we get up ready. Also I had to go take my mom at the doctors at 12, so which we would leave after to the beach.

I grabbed the food basket, Delilah came down with blanket putting it in a bag. I put the basket down next to the bag and went upstairs to help my mom.

After we all were ready, we walked out and I made sure the door was locked and I had my keys. We walked to the bus stop, and saw the bus was already there, we all got in while Delilah payed.

After my mom's appointment which everything was getting okay, we were on our way to the beach.

We all walked out the bus and walked to the beach

"Beach day" Sean said excitedly

When we found a spot we got settled on a nearby table

"Katherine where you put the sunscreen" Hennessy said looking through the bags

"It's probably in the little bag" I told her, I started to get the sandwiches and snacks out and juice.

"Found it" she said pouring some on her body and passing it to Delilah and then Sean.

"Please be safe, don't go to far" I told them as they ran to the water, I looked at my mother who was reading a book

"You hungry?" I asked and she looked up

"No" She said shaking her head, I nodded and ate a sandwich, looking at my siblings from afar.

When I finished eating I put my garbage in a little bag.

"You should go" My mom said slowly trying not to stutter

"I don't want to leave you here" I said with a small smile

"Just go"

"You sure?"

She nodded her head, I got up and grabbed a tank top and shorts from my the bag and walked to the bathroom to changed. When I was done I walked back, I folded my clothes and put it back.

"I'll be back every few" I told her kissing her cheeks and she nodded

Omniscient

The skies were becoming cloudy, as Katherine and her siblings played around in the beach. Janet was sitting still reading her book, until she got hungry. She tried grabbing the soup, that was on the table but couldn't.

"I got it" a young gentleman spoke getting it for her

"Thanks" She smiled opening the container eating it

"No problem, you here by yourself?" he asked, and she shakes her head

"No, I-I'm with my kids" She said pointing to them, he looked up and saw it was Kathrine and the kids she was with at the park

Out of nowhere it started pouring, Anthony helped Janet with the wheelchair getting her under the little house, then he saw Katherine running looking confused

"Where's mom?" She asked

"She's in here" Anthony yell, and they looked at him while Katherine ran towards him seeing her mom

"Thanks" She smiled at Anthony and then asking her mom if she's okay, Delilah, Sean and Hennessy got where Katherine was and waited for the rain to stop, which it seem like it wasn't any time soon, so the kids when in a bathroom to change.

"We going to wait here forever" Hennessy said being dramatic when she came out of the bathroom

"I can pull up my car, I have an umbrella and take y'all ho-"

"No thanks, we'll wait" Katherine said cutting him off

"But its a thunderstorm, so y'all may get home really late" Katherine still wasn't having it, until her mom grabbed her hand and gave her a look

"Mo-"

"Su-sure" Janet said, referring to Anthony giving them a ride, he nodded as he ran to get his car.

Few minutes later he pulled up, getting an umbrella and helping everybody get in. Once everyone was settled in, they drove home in an awkward silence.

Katherine placed everything on the table, while her siblings headed upstairs to take a shower. Anthony walked in with Janet, and placed her on the sofas and then headed back out to get the wheelchair.

"Thanks" Katherine said to him and gave him a smile, he nodded

"No problem, well I better get going" He said about to head out until Delilah spoke up

"Why don't you stay until the rain calms down a little" Delilah said smiling, walking down the stairs

"You s-should" my mom said, looking at me and then him and I rolled my eyes.

"I guess i'll stay" He said, Sean came down the stairs with a monopoly game board. While they played, I decided to start with dinner.
