"Your pops still has the old car" Sean pointed to the car behind him and Sydney laughed, she invited me over to hangout before she left to Florida for college and she still will be dancing, I hope. Sydney and I agreed to stay as friends, which it was better for us and to heal our broken wounds. And if the universe decided to bring us together, then it's meant to be. That's how I see it, I did have feelings for her. But it was better to be friends for now.
"He sure does, doesn't want to get rid of it" she said giving him a hug and I hugged her back. We pulled away, she grabbed my hand leading me inside her house, and walked to the backyard where her family were having a barbecue and had loud spanish music. I saw her father and couple of her uncles playing dominos.
"Sean!" her dad said once he saw me me, I walked towards him, dapping him "How you been?"
"I've been good" her mom walked towards me hugging me
"You gotten so handsome now" she said pinching my cheeks
"Okay mami, that's enough" Sydney said removing her hands of my face
"I don't want him Sydney, relax" she said laughed walking inside the house. I greeted some more of her family members.
"So where you going to college?" Sydney asked sitting in front of me
"Well, my sister decided to move to California before her belly gets bigger. I don't know yet what I want to do, but I'll decide once I get there" she nodded looking at me "You still going to be dancing right?"
"Of course, I would never stop dancing. That's something I love to do. I'll keep posting my videos on YouTube and Instagram when I get free time"
"Very proud of y-" before I can my sentence I got interrupted by Von
"My favorite people, whats up familia" Von said hugging Sydney and dapping me
"What y'all talking about" Trevor said sitting next to Sydney eating his hamburger
"Colleges" Sydney said "Y'all decided where you guys going?"
"I decided to go to Penn state, I'm leaving in 2 days" Trevor said
"I'm moving to Atlanta, to pursue my music" Von spoke up "and attend college over there"
I was very proud of them, where we come from it was rare for people to attend college or do something with their lives.
"Promise we will take trips together?" Sydney suggested
"Boujee se-" Von was about to say until Trevor punch his shoulder
"We should" Trevor said and I nodded agreeing with her.
"We should go to the park, one last time" I spoke, they looked at me and nodded
