It's been two months since my last date with Katherine, but we would talk through the phone or text from time to time. I'm not going to lie but I'm feeling her a little too much.
We getting to know each other more, and since she never had a boyfriend. I'm planing on taking everything slow so she doesn't feel some time of way.
My phone ring looking down at a text from Katherine.
Katherine: I just got home from my mom's doctor's appointment, what about you?
Me: About to do some drops, Can I come see you?
Katherine : Yeah sure, my mom been asking about you.
Me: I'll be there in a few.
Before I put my phone down, I send a quick text to my baby mama. Since I was getting my baby girl next week for Thanksgiving.
Pulling out of the parking lot of the bank, I made my way to the trap. I saw the guys outside playing dice and smoking. I dapped them up.
"Where you been nigga?" Alfredo said coming up to me
"Nothing much man, so about tonight" He pulled me to the side
"Boss want us to relocate with Tito"
"But where we at, we make more money" I exclaimed and he nodded
"Same thing I said but he didn't want to hear it" I shakes my head, he went to his truck and gave me the products
"I'll see you later" I told him and walked my car and drove to Katherine's house, when I pulled up which it was up the hill.
I parked my car, and walked to the front door and knocked the door.
A few moments later, Sean opened the door with a mugged on his face.
"Wassup little dude?" I asked, as I walked in closing the door
"Nothing" He said walking upstairs
"Don't mind him, he mad cause he can't go to his friends house" Delilah said walking out the kitchen with a bowl of salad, I sat on the couch with her as she turned the tv.
"Where's Katherine?"
"She's upstairs watching Hennessy hair, cause some hater put paint on it at school" I shake my head.
A few moments later, Katherine walked down with Hennessy on her tail.
"Hey I ain't know you were here" She said smiling sitting next to me, as Hennessy sat in front of Katherine
"I got here few minutes ago" She nodded, as she split Hennessy hair and started to braid it.
"Where's ma?" I asked
"She fell asleep, I thought you were going to take longer"
"I thought so too, but I wanted to see you" She blush
"Aww y'all cute" Delilah said smiling , Katherine and I chuckled, after Katherine finished doing Hennessy hair and Delilah went upstairs to take a nap.
Now it was just me and Katherine, I looked at her as she flipped through the channels trying to find something to watch.
"What you doing next week for thanksgiving?" I spoke up breaking the silence
"I don't know yet, Probably nothing" She said shrugging finally putting the controller down and looking at me
"Nothing? how come?"
"We don't celebrate holidays like that, we don't even have family members to celebrate it with" Katherine said
"You should come spend it with my family and I" I subject her and she quickly shakes her head
"No, it's fine Anthony"
"Why not? It would be nice for y'al-" before I could even finished my sentence she cut me off
"Honestly, I don't want you to feel like you have to do some for me or my family. It's really nice and all you offering us to come, but that's your family Anthony not mine" I nodded , I thought I was doing some nice
"Well okay, I was just don-" I sigh "Never mind" While getting to know Katherine, I felt bad all these things she had to do for them but also thought she was a strong person to be doing all these things for her family. I thought it would've been nice for her to join me and my family for thanksgiving so her family can feel the thanksgiving spirit.
"I understand where you coming from Anthony, I really do and I thank you for what you're trying to do" I nodded
"I know Katherine, well I have to get going" I told her getting up, as she got up with me
"That fast?" she said with a raised brow
"Yeah, I have to meet Alfredo" She nodded, I know she didn't want me to leave but I know it was going to get awkward.
"Be safe" She said as she hold the door for me, I gave her a quick hug and left.
