I woke up feeling like something wet is running to my face. I frowned while trying to adjust my eyes from the blinding sunlight.
"What the fuuuuck!!!." I screamed as I felt something tackle me.

"Shut it young lady! Get your ass up in your bed! Drink this and take a shower. I'll wait for you in the library." My mother's voice rang my ears like a fucking megaphone. My head feels like it's gonna blast any second.

I groaned while struggling to get up. Maybe mom pitied me because I heard her sigh and soon I felt her hands in my arms and helped me to get up.

"Do you always have to do this to yourself?." She asked. I just grunted while trying to steady myself to go to my bathroom.
When I set myself under the shower. I let it freely wash me even though I didn't take off my clothes. I sat there crying and I don't know why.

"Oh my god." My mom muttered as she got inside the shower room. "This is too cold Dani." She turned off the shower and just hugged me right there. "Darling... what have you been doing to yourself?."

"Mom?." I just cried on her shoulder. She soothed my hair and whispered to me that it's okay. "I love her. I love her mom. And she doesn't know."

After awhile. My mom stood up and I heard her run the water of the tub. "C'mon. C'mon up. I made a nice bath for you darling."

My mom's soothing words calmed me and I stood up but almost stumbled back down if my mom wasn't quick enough to catch me. She led me to the bathtub and helped me strip my clothes. Last time my mother seen me naked was when Sandra and I---.
I got into the bathtub and actually felt good. For awhile now. I leaned my head and felt myself dozing off. I faintly heard my mother muttering something about breaking. But I lost myself through the process of hangover and dope.

I woke up with a light tugging of my hair.

"Darling. You should get out of the tub now. It's getting colder already." I heard my mom say as she brushed my hair. She handed me a robe and I got up and put it on. "Darling..."

"I'm fine."

"Ok." She looked at me with greasing eyebrows. I walked out of the bathroom and dressed myself in a comfy jeans and white Mickey mouse shirt. I was drying my hair when my mom spoke again behind me.

"Your dad and I needed to talk to you about something."

"What is it?."

"When you are finished here. Please come on down to the library and we will talk about it. Okay?."

I just nod and continued blowing my hair dry. I looked at myself in the mirror and all see is the gray eyed girl with blood shots around the cornea. I should probably stop smoking joint this week and this addiction with purple haze had me look like a hooker. I sighed and I just pony tailed my hair and went down to the library. I didn't bother to knock because it's just my parents in there. Which I regretted afterwards.

My mom and dad are making out in my dad's desk and me opening the door caused them to jump apart like teenagers caught by their parents sneaking out. My mom's face was beet red and my dad was staring at the ceiling like an idiot. Who would have say that they were such powerful business magnates?

"Oh c'mon. You guys should get a room." I said with a sly smile.

"Uhmmm. Darling. We were just talking about you and your studies." My dad answered which annoyed me.

"Well... what exactly are you talking about?."

"Just universities and some stuff. Books and college life." My dad answered coolly. I raised an eyebrow.

"Does talking about college and books makes you horny? Wow. I never knew you guys have fetishes." I laughed dryly and my mom glared at me while my dad just looked dumbfounded.

"Please sit darling. We have some important things to talk about." Mom said while glaring at me. I shrugged it off but a thought came into my mind. And I gasped.

"Oh my gosh! Mom. Are you pregnant?!." It was my turn to glare at them and my moms face turned red. Dad looked like he's seen his life walk away.

"What in seven hells are you talking about?! How could you think of such things?! Do you want to have a sibling?!." My mom asked seriously. I sighed in relief.

"No. Thought so. I mean. You guys can't get enough of each other and what is this 'we need to talk to you' thing?! I already told you I'm not planning on going back to school!."

Mom sighed in relief. "I'm glad to hear that you don't wish to have a sibling anymore. But about your studies...---- You have to go to a University."

I was astounded. "What the Fuck?! Why?! You already agreed that I should at least take a break from everything and try to find my 'peace of mind'!." I nearly scratch my voice box out for screaming.

"Sit down darling please." Dad said waving to the chair in front of his desk. I hesitantly obeyed but it feels like whatever they have to say. I need to sit down.

"We are trying to make this easier for you..." Mom started to say. "But now we have to do this. Because you seem to forget yourself when Sandra---"

"Don't even go there Agatha!." I deadpan to her. As I hastily stood up and slumped my hands on the desk. "Don't fucking go there."

"Watch your tone to me young Lady! I am still your mother! You better not use that tone to me!." My mother flew to her feet and fumed at me. "Now you listen first young lady. Or this conversation is over."

"Tell me. What is this all about?." I asked as I sat back.

Dad took a deep breath. "I have cancer. You have to finish your degree as soon as possible and take over the business. You have to be ready as soon as possible D."

I felt the world stop spinning and I stopped breathing for a few seconds. My rapid eye blinking took over me and I felt my daddy's hand reached out to mine. "Darling... we--- your mother and I---- we wanted to give you this break you always wanted but here I am begging you. Please. You are my only child and no one shall take over our family business other than you."

I snapped out of my haze. "When? When did you knew?."

"A few months ago. 2 months before your graduation."

"What type of cancer?."

"Prostate."

I just nodded. "What's the deal after this?."

"Since we are asking too much from you. As soon as you take over your dad's business... You are free to pursue whoever you want want and we won't bother anymore." My mother answered.

I stood up and offered my hand to her. "Deal." We shook hands and so I hugged my dad. "Is it really bad?."

"Stage 2. But knowing this disease. God knows until when." He answered.

I hugged him and mom hugged us. "I love you dad. And you too mom."
