A few hours later Sam and Iain have checked in at their hotel and are just settling down. Iain is in the bathroom freshening up while Sam walks around the apartment-style hotel and looks out onto the balcony and looks for the keys to get out onto it.
She rummages around the room and finally finds the keys and unlocks the double doors to and walks out onto the balcony and takes in the breathtaking scenery. Iain, on the other hand, is just drying his face before heading back out.
Once out the bathroom, Iain looks across the hotel room to see Sam standing outside admiring the view. He walks closer still taking in the view and smiles to himself, "Beautiful isn't it?" He questions as he walks to the side of Sam and leans on the railing looking down onto the themes below.
Sam nods and continues to watch the world go by, "So I was thinking we could go for dinner somewhere nice? We could go to the Rainforest café?" Iain suggests.
"That would be nice, I haven't been there in ages" She smiles as she takes a seat on the chairs which have been set neatly outside the room.
"Are you okay Sam?" He asks as she seems a little bit of color.
She nods and sits holding her hip for a while "Would you get my handbag please, I have forgotten to take all my pain relief and antibiotics" She explains.
"Antibiotics?" He questions curiously as he grabs her handbag from off the bed.
Sam thinks to herself for a moment before realizing it would be best to tell him just in case anything was to happen to her this weekend away. "Yeah... the wound give got on my left side going from mid abdomen to my hip got a little bit infected, so I'm on some meds for it... yes before you ask they're working."
"You should have told me" Iain sighs as he feels a little out of the loop knowing Sam is keeping little things from him.
They both exchange looks before Sam starts to explain herself more, "Look, I didn't want you worrying. I'm fine. You've done so much for me recently I didn't want you to worry about a little infection" She replies.
Iain simply nods and carries on getting ready for their first meal of the weekend. Sam soon follows in herself around five minutes later and gets something nice on to wear.
Half an hour later Sam and Iain are both ready to go out, they leave the hotel room and head down to the main reception area and ask a receptionist the best and quickest way to get to the rainforest café.
Once they know their root they head off towards the nearest tube station they don't say much for the journey. "I can't wait to see this place" Iain smiles anxiously as they exit the train and make their way up to Piccadilly Circus.
They enter the café and are seated straight away and handed menu's, "You'd never get that fast service in Holby" Sam chuckles.
Iain rolls his eyes and laughs, "Well anything takes your fancy on the menu?" He asks as he skim reads the menu. Sam shakes her head and continues to read through the menu. "I like the idea of the steak sandwich" Iain smiles.
"I'm not big on steak sandwiches" Sam replies and Iain looks at Sam in shock.
"No way!" Iain replies with a smile and Sam nods.
She laughs and continues to look through the menu to see if anything takes her fancy, "It's very pricey here!" She mutters as her eyes widen at the prices.
Iain laughs and smiles at her "It's all good, you deserve to be treated."
Sam nods and finally picks something she likes the sound of out the menu and then Iain calls the waiter over so they can order. "Can I have the Jungle Steak Sandwich and she'll have..." Iain smiles prompting Sam to speak.
"Can I have the Wild Wok Noodles please... and I shall have the chicken breast topping please" Sam smiles happily.
The waiter nods and writes down their order, "Any drinks?" He asks
Iain nods and looks at Sam "Wine?" He suggests to Sam and she gives a smile and a nod. "Rose please" Iain replies. Sam sits quietly as they waiter walks away and takes in the restaurant around her.
