Sam has now been back at work a week and is settling back in just fine, it was almost like she had never been away. She loved working with Iain but faced new challenges when teamed up with Ruby for the day. A personality clash was a player in this but Sam just got on with things but longed for days when she can work with Iain.
Sam and Iain are currently sat in the ambulance on a quiet layby near a housing estate eating their lunch, Iain as usual has his greasy kebab with plenty of garlic sauce, while Sam stuck to what she loved and ordered herself a tray of chips, plenty of salt and vinegar with lashings of Barbeque sauce for extra good measure.
"... oh she loved you, her hands were all over you" Sam laughs hysterically.
Iain rolls his eyes and continues to eat, he puts his kebab down and licks his fingers before starting to speak; "She was a sweet old Lady, who was very drunk and had a dislocated hip... where else would her hands be?" He smiles.
She just smirks before taking a sip of a drink, "She made me very jealous" Sam chuckles.
"Now, now Samantha. Don't get jealous... maybe she's more of my type" Iain teases.
Sam hits Iain playfully and finishes off her lunch before getting out the driver's seat and walking over towards the bin. As she walks over to the bin Iain shouts over to her "Hey! You're forgetting my rubbish" He smirks as he hangs out the ambulance window with a cheeky grin on his face.
She huffs and walks back over to him and snatches the kebab papers from him and walks off. "Please, wouldn't go amiss round here Iain," Sam says as she walks back to the ambulance and climbs inside.
Iain sits and smiles at her before giving the 'puppy eyes' to her, she laughs and raises an eyebrow at him, "You're horrible to me, you know that right?" He sighs in a fake tone.
"I know, I'm a vile person" She laughs.
Iain smirks and leans over to kiss her, "Now you can make it up to me" He replies between kisses.
"Later Iain" she giggles into his neck as she peers down to see Iain hand slipping onto her thigh.
Iain smiles and pulls away "Well, later it is then" he smiles happily.
Just as they go into a kiss again the ambulance radio springs to life, "Can't get the peace around here" Sam laughs as Iain picks up the radio and replies to the call.
"... Received and on our way" Iain says and places the Radio down.
"RTC, a 28-year-old male, head-on collision with a motorbike, motorbike rider 30 with unknown injuries" Iain reels off to Sam before giving her the name of the road and setting off to the scene of the RTC.
