A/N: I'm gonna use the girl name from my fanfic about Shawn Mendes, "Obsessed".

Shawn's P.O.V.

I was walking down the halls, students pass by, teachers smiling at me..... but I didn't really care about that.. All I wanted was to see her.

As I passed by some lockers, I saw her putting her books in her locker. Want to know her name? It's Ella. Rosabella Louise.

She's been my crush since I was born.... We're not close friends, we're just on good terms. Our parents are the ones who are friends. Ella is not like the other girls that I've met. She's different. We've had our moments together and it was really memorable. She makes me feel like Shawn Peter Raul Mendes...... not The Shawn Mendes. She makes me remember that I'm from Pickering, Ontario.

Prom is upcoming and I've decided that I'm going to ask Ella to be my prom date.

"Dude!" I heard someone say to me. I snapped out of my thoughts as I turned to my best friend, Cameron.

"Huh?" I asked.

"You've been looking at Ella for 15 minutes!" Cameron laughed.

"Oh," I smiled sheepishly as I noticed that Ella already went to her next class.

"So........" Cameron dragged. "Are you going to ask her?"

"Yeah," I replied.

"Do you need any help? I'd love to help you court Ella!" Cameron exclaimed. "I can't help it!"

I chuckled.

"Actually, yeah. I'll you, Nash, Matthew and Sammy's help," I said.

"I, Cameron Alexander Dallas, reporting for duty!" Cameron joked as I laughed.

I was at the gym court, making sure everything is perfect by the time I ask Ella to be my prom date.

"Aye, you okay?" Sammy asked.

"Y-yeah," I said. "Just nervous." (A/n: See what I did there? ;) Lmao)

"Don't worry," Sammy said. "If she says no, then we'll join you to go to Baskin Robbins."

"Sammy!" I heard Sammy's girlfriend, Stassie, scold.

"Just saying!" Sammy shrugged as he raised both of his hands in surrender.

"She'll say yes, Shawn," Stassie encouraged. "I know it."

"Thanks, Stass," I smiled as she did the same. I sighed as I got ready myself.
