This imagine is like the movie, "To All The Boys I've Loved Before", but with a twist;)

Shawn's P.O.V.

I walk in the cafeteria, waiting for my best friend, Hayes, to have lunch with me. Sighing, I got my phone as I sent a text to him.

Me: Bro, where r u?

Hayes: I have football practice remember? Sorry bro, can't join u today 😅

Me: Okay, fine. Good luck tho

Hayes: Thanks bro!

As I put my phone back into my pocket, I saw Y/n, Cameron, and their own friends at one of the tables..... Laughing and talking. I see Cam whisper something in Y/n's ear, making her laugh.

Frowning, I exited the cafeteria and went to the library to study instead.

"Hey, honey," Mom greeted as I entered the house. "How was school?"

"Fine, I guess," I said, turning to her as I gave her a small smile. "I'm gonna go up to my room."

"Sure, sure," Mom nodded. "I'll call you when dinner's ready."

Smiling, I went upstairs to my room as I locked the door. I dropped my backpack on the floor. I laid on my bed, sighing.

Then I realized........

I got down on the floor, bending down to find something underneath my bed as I finally found it.

It was a shoe box.

But not just any shoe box.

It was a shoe box that was filled with letters. Love letters. And no, I wasn't the one who received it, 'cause I was the one who wrote those love letters. I never showed it to anybody but me.

You might be wondering. Shawn, why do you write love letters and not send them?

Well, you see, I wrote these love letters to remember how strong my emotions are. I wrote 3 letters:

The very first letter I wrote was for a girl named Lauren Arendse from 3rd grade. She was actually my very first friend. She's just so sweet and kind. I loved her..... at least, I think I did. Actually, we're still friends.

The second letter I wrote was for Camila Cabello from the music club I was in when I was in 6th grade. She's so funny and just..... acts like herself, y'know? I loved her too.

The last letter..... It was for a girl named Y/n Y/l/n from middle school. She's really, as in, really beautiful. She was actually my first kiss...... And no, she wasn't my girlfriend.

It happened in middle school when we all gathered for a game of Truth or Dare. And yeah..... She was dared to kiss me and she did. Dang, I was blushing and smiling so much at the same time until my cheeks hurt and I had to quit the game. I loved her.

But she has a boyfriend, which is Cameron Dallas............

"Hey, Shawn. What's that?" I heard Aaliyah. I turned around to see Aaliyah, I quickly put the letters in the shoe box before Aaliyah could see it.

"Huh? Oh, nothing!" I said, nervously.

As I hid the box underneath my bed, covering it with my used clothes.
