Y/n's P.O.V.

I looked at the amazing view as I stood on the edge of a tall building. I took my time to admire the things I never had time to admire back then. I took a deep breath as I took small steps closer to the edge.... so close that I could fall.

But I didn't care, I wanted to fall. I wanted to forget all the pain I have. I wanted to end my misery. I wanted to leave my life.

As I took another look at the city, my foot slipped as I gasped.

This was it.

I closed my eyes as I lost my balance... I closed them so tight because it was my time.

But then....

I felt someone held me.

I looked up as I saw a boy with dark brown hair and hazel eyes.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" He asked as he set me down on ground, away from the edge.

"Why did you save me?" I asked.

"You almost died! What was I gonna do? Cheer for you?!" He said, panicked.

"Well, atleast respect someone's decision," I muttered to him.

"Wait.... You were attempting suic----" He tried to say but I cut him off.

"Suicide? Yeah. Got a problem?" I snapped as I put my hoodie over my head.

"But why?" He asked as I turned to look at him.

"Why not?" I shot back. "I have a terrible life, I get bullied everyday, my best friend died last week, I'm failing my classes, and no one cares about me... Why not die instead? No one will notice anyways."

"If someone cared for you.... Would you stay alive?" He asked.

"Even if it's just one person, yes," I sighed as I was about to walk away but I felt a hand grab my wrist and turned me around.

"Then I'll be that person," He smiled.

"Thanks... but no thanks," I said. "I don't need your pity, (?)" I dragged.

"Shawn. My name is Shawn," He stated.

"Shawn," I said. "I don't need your pity."

"You said you'd stay alive if even one person showed that they care for you.... " He dragged. "Well, I'm not gonna stand here knowing I could save a life."

"You don't need to, though. I'm useless," I shrugged.

"How would I know?" He smiled.

"Well, I'm already warning you," I said.

"I'm the kind of guy who doesn't believes things until he sees it," He shrugged.

"Also the kind of guy who doesn't listen," I muttered. "Why do you care anyways?"

"I want to help these kind of people," He said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Suicide doesn't end the chances of life getting worse... Suicide eliminates the possibility of it ever getting better," He said. "Let me help you...."

I smiled a little.

"You won't ever have to take this kind of fall."
