Summary:
Shawn inlove with Rosabella but Rosabella is a princess and Shawn is just a son of a maid who works in the castle.
The king announces that Rosabella will meet his suitors soon and Shawn will finally make his move before the day comes and tell Rosabella that he loves her.

Princess Rosabella's P.O.V.

"Dang, take it easy, Rose," Shawn groaned as he held his sword low. "Are you trying to kill me?"

"Maybe, maybe not," I giggled.

"Rude," Shawn huffed.

"Come on! Last one... I really need to practice to protect myself," I pleaded.

"You don't need to practice for that! I can always protect you," He said.

"I know. But you won't be always on my side, Shawn," I sighed as I regained my position, holding my sword. "Come on."

Shawn groaned as he followed my position too.

"Go!" I said as we battled.

Shawn tried to attack my side with his sword as I dodged it, making him stumble forward and crash into me. We both fell to the ground as he was on top of me. He supported his weight by putting his elbows on both of my sides.

"Ummm, well this is awkward," I said.

"Oh, um, sorry," Shawn apologized as he stood up. He offered his hand to help me up as I took it.

"Princess Rosabella!" I heard someone call as I turned to see one of my maids.

"Hello, Maria," I smiled.

"Greetings, princess," Maria bowed. "If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing here outside?"

"Shawn was just helping me practice with my sword, Maria," I said. "Did you need something from me?"

"Well, the King wanted to talk to you about something," She said. "I think it was about the suitors, I guess."

"Oh that! When are they arriving?" I asked.

"The day after tomorrow, Princess," She said.

"Oh, okay. Give me a moment and I'll go talk to my father," I said to Maria.

"Of course," She nodded as she bowed down.

"Thank you," I said as she left.

"Suitors?" Shawn asked as I faced him.

"Yeah, I forgot to tell you," I sighed. "I'm sorry."

"It's, um, no problem," He smiled. "You got a lot on your plate right now."

"I know, right? I don't even know if I could do all this," I said as Shawn walked over to me and held both of my hands.

"Hey. You can do this," He encouraged. "I know you can. You're the most hardworking person I know."

I smiled as he did too.
