Hours later, Gally removed the lid to the entrance of the sewer, ready to lead them to the inside of the City. The group crowded around, staring down into the dark space, Adeline feeling her throat tighten at the sight. The tight squeeze down, and the idea of being underground was not doing much good for that anxiety she got when she'd become claustrophobic.

"Ya gonna be right to go down there, shebean?" Gally questioned her, using the old nickname she had back in the Glade. Adeline stared down once more, before peering back up.

"Not really, but I don't have a freakin' choice, do I?" She muttered. Gally shook his head, and Newt squeezed her shoulder reassuringly. Shortly after, Gally starts to descend down the ladder. They each disappear down the ladder one by one, Adeline bracing herself as she descends down into the sewer, trying to remain calm.

Gally lead the group through those sewers like he had with Thomas and Newt the night before, until they arrived and trudged through a train tunnel and out onto the subway platforms. Gally was in a rush to get the plan ready, as mandatory curfew was nearing closer each passing minute. As the group wandered on the subway platforms, trying not to draw any attention to themselves, overhead over a speaker, an automated voice repeated about the curfew being a couple hours away, but Adeline ignored that. The only time did she pay attention to the voice was when it spoke an entirely different sentence, over and over;

"Think a loved one has become infected? Know the signs: Irritability, high fever, coughing, convulsions ..." 

Adeline clenched her jaw at that, trying not to say anything that could ensure that anyone around them took notice and would become suspicious at her behaviour. Newt placed a hand to the small of her back, making sure nobody noticed her reaction at that moment. They continued on, until they'd reached another hideout that belonged to Gally's group. The plan was to get Teresa to the hideout, get her to comply with their orders and to give information about Minho's whereabouts inside their building, and to get her to remove their trackers.

The next hour or so before Gally and Thomas would head out, was spent on getting the last of the plan ready. Adeline and Brenda were assigned to helping get the last of the immunes, alongside Minho, out and would remain in the car park area under the WCKD building, while Frypan would be assigned to carry out Plan B, if necessary. When Gally goes to give Jorge a task to do while both boys are gone, the man stops him.

"I'm not stayin' with ya, hermano's." Jorge states. Brenda doesn't appear to be surprised by this, as if she knew. Although, Adeline isn't surprised if she knew. "At least, I'm not stayin' after you bring back the girl."
