CHAPTER VII

He exited his car and closed it, walked to the elevator and pushed the button to his level, once the elevator's doors closed, he sighed and stood calmly there.

When he reached his level, the elevator stopped and he exited it once the doors were open and was greeted by the sight of Daniel at his desk working seriously on the laptop.

He didn't even notice the presence of his boss until he pushed the laptop's screen down for him.

At first, Daniel looked up annoyedly, but once his eyes met the ones of the boss, he stood up so fast his chair fell back.

-"Boss!" He said with a smile.

-"I see you are working hard on your first day" the boss said and Daniel made a serious look.

-"Of cours boss, but you see, this lady kept coming to me and couldn't stop flirting, it was kinda..." he couldn't finish.

-"Annoying?" The boss finished for him with a raised eyebrow.

-"Yeah!" Daniel breathed.

-"Don't worry about her, I fired her before coming here" the boss said with a smirk and went to his office while Daniel followed him.

-"But, how did you know?" Daniel asked in surprise.

-"I didn't, the bitch tried getting on my personal elevator, she didn't see me and kept talking on her phone and spreading some bullshit about me, so I broke her phone and almost her mouth and fired her."

Daniel just smiled, he knew his boss would rather bathe her with her blood than just fire her, and seeing this side of his boss made his chest warm.

-"Why are you smiling?" His boss interrupted him.

-"Nothing boss, and by the way, we have to meet this evening because we got a new contract from Buraq's gang to discuss" Daniel said.

-"Yeah, and do me a favor, go bring Ezra from his house before joining the gang this afternoon." The boss said and saw the questions circulating in Daniel's head.

-"You'll know when you see him, and now, go bring me the today's documents so I can finish with them and we can go" the boss said and took his seat.

Not a hour later, all the work was done, and he dismissed Daniel to go fetch Ezra while he went to the building.

He was greeted by Oussama, the man was in his forties, but still, you will confuse him with a young man in his early thirties, he seems the same age as Ezra and Khaled, but still, too mature.

-"Khaled, why are you dressed casually?" Oussama asked in surprise.

-"It's my day off, and I ended by passing by the company, so...why do you even care?" He finished with a frown.

-"It's just that you look smooth and young, not your usual cold and-" Oussama didn't finish his sentence when Khaled walked past him and entered the office room and shit the door behind him so hard that made a noise making other doors to open and some heads popped out curiously.

-"Everyone to their work" Oussama said sternly.

He went to the living room were the reunion was supposed to be held, everything was ready.

He heard the special knock again and went to the door.

Daniel walked in with a miserable looking Ezra.
