CHAPTER XIV

-"Eureka what?" Oussama asked in confusion as he put Cedric on the couch and went to the mini fridge for a cup of juice that he put down on the table in front of Cedric.

-"I couldn't sleep, so I used my phone and hacked through the system and followed the way of the message Daniel received for Khaled's position, and since I got blocked out of the system before, I changed a lot of things and used different ways, and guess what I found?" Cedric said with a tired smile as he sipped his juice.

-"What?" Oussama said.

-"There is another party playing in our game" Cedric said with a smile and a raised eyebrow.

-"Like?" Oussama ushered him to continue.

-"A party by Khaled's side" Cedric said as he finished his cup of juice.

Oussama gave him a disappointed look.

-"Khaled got his own dogs that even you don't know about their existence" Cedric continued and Oussama's eyes widened for a bit.

-"You never thought about something like that before huh?" Cedric mocked and Oussama started thinking seriously.

Why would Khaled do something like that? Doesn't he trust us enough?

-"It hurts huh? To know that he didn't even share something this important with you" Cedric said and then blinked in confusion.

-"Let this a secret between us, and for now just rest" Oussama said seriously.

-"What's...happening?" Cedric asked in confusion as his world tilted to the side and he fell down the couch.

Oussama fetched him and carried him to the bed.

-"The drink, you-" he couldn't finish as he fell into a deep sleep.

Oussama sighed and walked to the couch to think about more important matters.

The room was a bit dark due to the closed curtains, but it's surely daytime, since light slipped through them to give some clear view to the surrounding.

He opened his eyes tiredly and sighed, he went to roll to his side but got surprised by the smooth long black hair sprawled everywhere around him, and the warmth coming from the body laying half under him.

He smiled and pushed the hair away to reveal a beautiful sleeping face, he caressed the side of her head, then, traced with the tip of his thumb around the scratches on her face.

And he suddenly found himself spreading butterfly kisses all around her face: cheeks, eyes, forehead, nose, jawline, and then, paused as his eyes fell on her lips.

He groaned and fell on his back, he doesn't remember what happened last night.

He stayed in the bed for a bit, but suddenly, he felt disgusted by himself, and his clothes, so he got out of bed calmly and went for the bathroom attached to the room and took a quick refreshing shower.

He returned wearing only grey sweatpants and wiping his hair with a towel.

He saw her shifting form on the bed and knew she was going to wake up, he flopped down on the bed and regained his place.

She flipped to her left and felt a cool skin, she traveled with her hand down until she met the hem of the sweatpants, so she travelled back up, caressing his abs, and accidentally grazing his left nipple and made him stiffen and shudder lightly, continuing up to his neck, face, and reaching his damp hair, and she traveled her fingers through it and the gesture made him hum in content.

Suddenly, she froze mid-act, opened her eyes lightly and got a confused look, she turned to her left completely to be greeted by the amazing sight, but it only made her jump out of bed and give him an angry look.

He sighed happily and adjusted his pose to lean on his forearm and flex his muscles more and gave her a suggestive look.

-"You fuc*ing ruined my job here, got me dragged through your shitty business matters, made me meet my supposed to be dead uncle, made me come to you with an antidote, and then, you grab me as a hug pillow to sleep and disturb my bien-être and sleep!" She said angrily.

-"And am I supposed to thank you?" He said mockingly.

She just clicked her tongue, adjusted her ruined clothes, and walked out of the room to be greeted by the sight of Daniel and Ezra, she started walking to the door gracefully ignoring them, her gorgeous green eyes piercing them arrogantly.

-"STOP" came Khaled's voice from the open door of the room where he was leaning tiredly due to his injuries and the incident of last night, but he still oozed power.

She stopped suddenly without turning, and the door to the suit opened and Oussama and Buraq came in and looked in confusion at the situation and sensed the strange atmosphere.

-"We are returning home the afternoon" Khaled said.

-"It's already afternoon" Ezra said.

-"I have no home to return to" she said and started walking again.

-"Your home is with me, you belong with me, your place is beside me" Khaled said with a serious tone.

-"I've never chosen to, I don't even approve of your existence " she said with a tired smile.

-"I will make a deal with your uncle, I will let him live" Khaled said in a calm voice that surprised the others.

Why is Khaled negotiating with her?, Khaled never negotiate.

-"I don't care about him, I don't have a family" she said and walked to the door.

-"You have me" he said as her hand touched the handle of the door.

-"All you do is ruin my life, we were born to end off the existence of each other" she said as she was still holding the door's handle.

-"And look at us now" Khaled said.

-"We are nothing to each other" she said and opened the door.

-"You are my wife" Khaled said firmly and made her stop and the others froze in surprise.

-"I am your husband, so let me give you a new life" he said with a warm voice and a promising tone.

They all looked at her, waiting for her answer in suspense.

-"Go fu** yourself and see if I care" she said and closed the door so hard behind her.

The room was dead silent, everyone was chocked, and finally, Ezra exploded laughing.

-"God! She is the best!" Ezra said between laughters.

Khaled retuned to his room and closed the door hard.

He grabbed his mobile and sent a quick message, changed his clothes and walked out tiredly.

-"We are going back to the airport, you got five minutes to get ready, I won't wait forever, Daniel, let's go" Khaled said and walked out with a confused Daniel.

Once they reached the rooftop of the hotel, they found the Helicopter waiting with the gorgeous wife unconscious inside.

Khaled smiled and got in, followed by Daniel.

Once they reached the private jet, Khaled carried her inside and gestured to Daniel to do his work and wait for the others.

He put her down on the comfortable bed and caressed her hair with a tired smile.

-"We are going home my dear, and this time, I won't let you away from my side"
