CHAPTER XXI

-"So, you wanted to steal my car and run away?" Khaled said with a singsong way.

-"Eugh! Karma is a bitch! I just wanted to play a small trick on you!" She huffed as she massaged her forehead.

Suddenly, the car came to a stop, she heard him unbuckle his seatbelt, so she turned to look at him, but he surprised her by how near he was to her, so she went to lean back a bit, but he grabbed the back of her head gently and made her look up at him as he hovered over her.

-"Does it hurt a lot? Should we head to the hospital first?" He said gently as he pushed her hair out of her face and inspected the damage.

-"No, I mean, it's just a headache!" She said and tried to get away from him.

He remarked her move, so he just leaned down a bit and put his lips to her forehead and felt her freeze for a moment.

-"Okay, if you don't feel good you tell me, okay?" He said and regained his seat and put on his seatbelt again and looked at her.

She was under the shock, so she just nodded, he smiled and moved the car again.

Once they reached the company, he took the elevator and ordered one of his dog to take the car to their quarters, and told him what to do with the bastard he put in the car.

The elevator ringed and the doors opened, and he headed to his office while she walked to her desk, or that's what he thought.

After a few hours, the workers returned to their homes, and Khaled started wondering where she went, all her belongings were by her desk, so he started looking around, then, he remembered something, so, he walked there, opened the door and be greeted by the high music playing.

He followed the source of the music to be surprised when he turned to the left side of the gym, and he just assisted at the moment where his angel delivered a kick at Ezra's stomach that sent him flying back and fell groaning in pain.

-"WHAT THE HELL! WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE?" Khaled roared as he run to them.

Ezra laughed and stood up, walking to them as Khaled started inspecting her, and he saw a bruise forming on her face, the left side by her cheek bone.

Suddenly, Ezra found himself on the ground with Khaled on top of him with an aura oozing bloodlust, and he couldn't stop himself from getting excited.

Ezra has always been thirsty for violence, that's why he intends to provoke others to fight him, but in situations like the one he is in right now, it rarely happens, because when Khaled get bloodlust, he is so violent he end up killing you, and that's why Ezra always try to provoke him, he always wanted to experience death, he drank until he almost died, he overdosed on drugs, but they were never enough because he couldn't remember, so, the first time he fought with Khaled, he choked him until he almost died, but Khaled stopped before he could kill him.

For Ezra, it was the best experience of his life, so he stuck to Khaled and tried to provoke him from time to time, it was his best overdose as he told him once.

-"STOP!" She screamed suddenly and Khaled got awakened from his bloodlust haze and he looked down to find a slipping into another world Ezra.
