CHAPTER XV

He entered the mansion with steady proud steps, the servants were hurrying around like bees, and so were the maids, the family gathered around the huge table seemed happy, his grandma, uncle and aunties and even his cousins, they were chatting and eating dinner in harmony, because they didn't know that he was coming back.

He walked with the medium box by his right hand towards the table, a maid who was serving his uncle saw him and stiffened, his uncle went to talk but instead followed her gaze and saw him.

Suddenly, the table went calm as he threw the box at his uncle who struggled to grab it.

-"Wow, the mood you were in before seeing me was so homey, I almost felt sad to ruin it" he said with a fake smile and his grandmother hummed.

-"Welcome home Khaled, why didn't you prevent us before coming, I would of have made some preparations to greet you" his grandmother said with a smile from her seat.

-"I couldn't ruin the surprise, and also, I was so excited to meet my uncle again to give him a gift that almost costs my own life" Khaled said and everyone stiffened.

-"Go ahead dear uncle, open the box, I know you'll thank me" Khaled said with a serious look.

His uncle was already in an inner debate about whatever opening the box was a good or bad idea.

In the end, he opened it and dragged his chair back from chock with a look of horror, and suddenly, he turned to his side and threw up all the delicious meal he was stuffing his stomach with before.

His son hurried to his side, and so did his wife, the maids hurried to clean up the mess.

-"You can sleep at ease now, I took care of your nightmares" Khaled said to his uncle and walked upstairs.

He walked to his room, but stopped by her room as he heard some noises inside.

He knocked twice and heard her permission, so he entered and got surprised at the sight.

-"I missed you all this time to walk in and find you packing up?" He said with surprise.

She just smiled and walked to him.

-"Hello Khaled, I missed you too, how are you doing?" She asked warmly.

-"If I came a day late I would of have found this room empty" Khaled said with a tight smile.

-"But you are here now" she said as she put her hand on his cheek, her gorgeous azure eyes piercing through his.

-"Well, that's a good decision, because I bought a house of my own and I won't be living here anymore, here's the address if you may pass by or even want to live with, I already prepared your room there" Khaled said as he handed her a piece of paper with his address.

She took it and smiled, then, hugged him tightly and breathed his scent, then left him.

-"thank you Khaled, you are the only piece that rested from my family" she said while holding the piece of paper to her heart.

He hummed and walked out muttering a see you .

Once in his room, he grabbed some important papers and a few changes and walked out with a suitcase ad exited the mansion.

He drove to his house, it was a beautiful white one with a fence and a garden, in a beautiful neighborhood, you would think that the house belongs to a couple with a caring housewife that takes care of the plant since there was a greenhouse attached to the side of the house, and there was a garage for his car.
