Chapter XXVII

CHAPTER XXVII

His head was pounding like crazy, he couldn't remember exactly what happened, he groaned and moaned in pain as he tried to open his eyes but still couldn't, so he stayed calm for a bit as he focused on his surroundings.

The smell of cigarettes and the sound of someone humming.

He tried to move and turn to his side, but his head throbs more and he groaned again.

-"Are you awake?" A manly voice asked from his right side.

He didn't answer, or rather say couldn't, so he stayed calm for a moment until he felt a cold hand on his cheek turning his head to the side.

-"Hurts" was all he could manage to say.

-"I know, just open your eyes and tell me if you can see or the hit damaged your sight" the man said.

To his shock, his eyes flew open, everything was blurry at first, and then, he started to focus more, and he could make a form of a manly man bending over him.

-"I think that your sight is fine" the man said with a smile.

-"Who are you?" Daniel asked as he started to sit up and held the side of his head in pain as he felt a bondage in there.

-"Call me Cid, your cellmate" Cid said as he inhaled the cigarette and walked to the bars to exhale it.

-"What happened?" Daniel asked as he flopped down on the bed.

-"You got in a huge fight, you almost won when a chair flew to your head" Cid said still with his back to Daniel.

-"I'm gonna castrate the one who did it" Daniel said angrily.

-"You did quite a number in them, you are like a devil in an angel skin" Cid said and turned to jump on his bed that was on top.

-"You hungry?" Cid asked.

-"No" Daniel answered shortly.

-"Good, because there isn't anything to eat, go sleep kid" Cid said.

-"Fuck off" Daniel growled and not moments later, Cid was on top of him like an enraged animal pinning him down.

-"You ain't disrespecting me kid" Cid growled.

Daniel was shocked, and as he observed him more, his eyes widened.

-"Ezr-" he didn't finish as a hand came clamping his mouth violently and Cid looked at him with terrifying eyes.

-"Its Cid, C.I.D, you dare call me otherwise and I'll fuck your head with the wall" he said as he leaned closer.

Suddenly, images and flashbacks rained in Daniel's head, everything was a mess in his head, and Cid observed with confusion as Daniel's eyes went wide and moving around unfocused, he removed his hand from Daniel's mouth and leaned a little bit back.

-"Hey kid! Daniel? Dan-" he didn't finish as he got cut with a bloody scream from Daniel, and he moved fast as he clamped his hand back on Daniel's mouth to stop him, but Daniel struggled and started fighting back in panic and he wasn't weak, which made Cid straddle his lap and hover over him.

Daniel then paled and started breathing hard and his struggling calmed a bit, so Cid removed his hand from his mouth when he felt him short in breath and he was surprised to hear what seemed like pleading.

-"Please...I'm sorry...please...I'm sorry...plea-" Cid didn't let him finish as he slapped him heard and made him shut up and calm down, or rather say: knocked him out.
